Magnificent work Mark. Riffs are on point as always and you really covered all the bases here!

I can't wait to pair this with my Longsword and Tim v1. This seems like a crazily versatile dirt pedal, hoping it stays on the board for a long, long while.

Bruh. The Citadel into the Ruby is a really excellent combo. I've been hearing it in several of the other demos. But in this one, the "What's the Frequency Kenneth?" sound is really unavoidably prominent. And although REM isn't like my favorite band or anything, Peter Buck's sound on that recording was excellent. Also hearing plenty of not so subtle nods to both Ian and Guy's tones/styles from Fugazi. Also, just hearing some great golden era Marshall stuff that reminds me of Hit Me with Your Best Shot mixed with the Boys are Back in Town. This is a great device for anyone who knows how ear bleedingly loud you actually have to turn up a Marshall to make them sound like this in the room. Excellent demo, and excellent new pedal John & Co. This is going to be a long time superstar!

That opener is up there with one of my faves you have put together! Thoughtfully comprehensive overview too!

Your riffs at the 1 min mark rule! Didn’t want it to end 😊

    Great video!
I picked the CItadel up and am thinking about adding a boost, possibly the Mythos Cestus or the Origin DCX.
    Thanks!

Awesome demo. Tried the limelight v2 and surprisingly didn't get along with it - something about the breakup character that didn't sit well with my ears. This one sounds like it might be more up my alley, though. Love how chimey and tweakable it is mixing in the bright and normal channels along with the eq controls.

Citadel can definitely get more "chewy" than the Limelight to my ears. Might be worth checking out - definitely has some great low-gain vibe despite being an absolute monster if cranked.

@@AmbientEndeavors chewiness is a great description for what I'm hearing in both yours and mark's vids and I think I'm realizing that's a quality I really like in an overdrive. Probably going to have to pick one of these up from your shop to try out!

Curious if you tried the Citadel on bass at all. I'm currently using the Model FeT with very low gain for a little extra thickness. Wondering if the citadel might be the perfect fit.

I was always curious how you get your drums sounding awesome. Are you using Getgood and mapping them out or EZD3 perhaps? I'm trying to figure out the best direction for writing drums while I am not a drummer.

Ruby and Citadel is the perfect match . How was the basic Ruby sound set up?

Killer song! I really love those balaguers you guys put together. Your bass tones have really stepped up since you started using that Jennings. What do you have it going through?

Bass is running through the quad cortex and then I’m doing some parallel mixing with CLA Bass.

My favorite trick is stacking two different versions of the same idea. Makes for some fun, weird harmonic interplay
