Your criticisms for the Patricia hire are pathetic.
Franchise with history of losing- Lions had a better record than both the Titans and Colts the year prior. Difficult division with Aaron Rodgers back- Packers still have no defense and one would argue that the Jaguars have such a good defense that the Colts and Titans don’t stand a chance.
Never Worked for Another NFL Team- Valid. Neither did Vrabel though yet you didn’t say anything.
Has the Look of an Assistant- This one makes no sense and holds no weight at all.

Titans swept Jags this season so that point is objectively wrong. The titans also beat the lions last year and had a better record this year. All recent evidence would point to TN being in a better position for success then DT currently.

Of course you'd give Lions and Patricia a worse grade then the rest. It's ridiculous how little you know about the Lions. Matthew Stafford is elite! Bob Quinn is more then competent and he'll show that this off-season. There's over $40m in cap space and all the major players are tied up with good contracts.

The minute you called Nick Saban a A+ hire as a professional football coach in the NFL your entire viewpoint on coaches went out the door. He absolutely sucked in the NFL, he could not control the draft as he controls college football recruting. NFL players are men Not high school kids. They wouldn't put up with his stupid antique coaching style. Nick Saban's was and would be a horrific head football coach in the NFL. Already proven. In fact he's an overrated college football coach with no competition in his entire state. Put him in Oregon State or Tulane, Mercer, etc and he doesn't even exist as a coach.
Most likely to succeed:
1. Vrabel. Franchise QB. Good talent. Defensive coach.
2. Patricia. Decent QB. Some talent. Defensive coach.
3. McDaniels. Offensive coach on a team that doesn’t need QB help. Colts have bad ownership. Colts haven’t had good defense in forever.
Brandon Fortin Because Mariota is better. Makes better decisions, mobile, has produced despite terrible talent.
Stafford has had Johnson, Tate etc. in a pass happy offense that inflates statistics.
Even when the Lions had the number one defense Stafford couldn’t get a playoff win.
Stafford has better arm talent than Mariota that’s about it. If Mariota gets a competent OC and some receivers he will be a Pro Bowler.

Really Now um gronk went straight up there was a lot of contact both ways, there was at least 4 eagles surrounding him, Hogan got completely decked running to the hail mary but no penalty was called. Belichick's wardrobe shake up was more disturbing to me than benching Butler the entire game. Belichick also found Jonas Gray, Dennard, Revis, Browner (post Saints burning), Welker, Edelman, Ninkovich, etc. Part of the social agreement to playing for the Patriots is that talent can't bail out being a locker room cancer.

Well it looks like McDaniels has failed, and he didn’t even make it into the building.
Vrabel is a defensive coach that is only gonna hurt the growth of Mariota (we’ll just have to hope this coordinator ends up being a huge difference). And Stafford could also use a really smart offense guy but instead he’s getting Matt Patricia. Indy was the only team to have the smarts to sign a great offensive coach to go with their great QB.
Erc stafford doesnt need an offensive guy, our offense just needs a run game, Stafford has been fire! Defense is where we need creativity and did i say a run game.

This is a garbage idea for a segment. How are you actually going to speculate how much success or failure a coach is going to have before they even arrive to their team with a final roster?
Colin, your "proximity to greatness" is wrong. Maybe in Belichick's instance it might be, but Nick Saban was his d coordinator in Cleveland. Look at Bill Parcell's coaching tree though: Belichick, Sean Payton, Mike Zimmer, Tom Coughlin. Parcells was great, those coaches are great as well.

I think McDaniels backing out was a good decision and Patricia is going into an already good team. He'll be in the playoffs next year. I don't agree with Colin on the Butler. I think there's more than meets the eye here . Sometimes there are internal things going on. Let's face it , the Eagles played the game of their life and STILL should have lost ! The Pats special teams lost this game and the Eagles took advantage of every opportunity. And ......if the Seahawks run it in and the Falcons kick a field goal , it's a completely different conversation here.

Another thing that I don't like about Collin sometimes is the fact that when it comes to certain areas of the country like down South or, the Midwest he bashes them but, if it deals with the East coast or West Coast he praises those areas any chance that he gets. Prime example the National championship game between Georgia and Alabama he was completely dismissive about it.
And no, I am not just crying because I am from the South Louisiana born and Louisiana proud in spite of its flaws. However, when teams like the Warriors, Lakers, Yankees Celtics USC football or any of those other teams or, states have their lengthy runs of success I give them credit, I am proud of them, and I am happy for them. But, Colin comes off as regionally bias to me.

Big difference between college and pro football for 1 thing Colin they recruit in college and a lot of kids sign with a school because of the coach. Don James pulled in a lot of top kids when he left that stopped. Pro football is a whole different scenario free agency and then a draft hard to compare the two. Jim Lambright was no Don James.
