I absolutely cannot believe they didn't donate all those hams! Great job rescuing them! Imagine how many people in need could be fed with all that meat. You guys are awesome sharing it!
I can’t either! People starving and they throw perfectly good food away! How do they even sleep at night!!!
@@marysadnick6854they’re not allowed to donate. It’s a giants food regulations. Because if someone were to get sick then they could sue. I know it’s ridiculous that it’s now allowed and food goes to waste, but it is what it is.
@@marysadnick6854 Not to mention these animals died for no reason so I hope they get used.
@@debrabrickus8467 Don't worry because they have a donation group they support with all the mother loads of products. Not one nickel wasted and every pig thanked.
There are often reasons why they can't. Or why food banks will not take stuff. They won't take expired food even if it's same day, for example. Some stores get sent more than they can keep, and whoever sent it won't take it back and maybe no one will come get it for reasons. Don't automatically assume they're being wasteful. That's $ in the trash, and all they care about is $.
WOW, that's AMAZING!! It's so sad that animals are killed only to end up in the dumpster - great work FD for saving all that meat. You're going to bless and feed a lot of families!👍👍👍
Wow, for a company that said they donate, they sure throw a lot out. So glad you found it and rescued it.
Wow Wee! Frugal Daddy hit the mother lode of hams. Many blessings you will get for donating some of them. ✋High five to Frugal Daddy!
50% off at my Aldi.
Bought two and baked.
Then stripped to the bone.
Bagged the meat and froze it.
Meal ideas , ham and beans, ham and potato soup, scalloped potatoes and ham, ham and splitpea soup, ham salad, ham and egg casserole, cheese egg and ham omelets,
Ham sandwich, ham green bean and potatoes.
Ham is very versatile meat!
That's ridiculous known there are people starving and this store throws away that much food
You're absolutely right they're starving people in this country. Weis corporate America throwing away food they used to donate to food banks and they get a tax write-off once upon a time ago corporate America cared about people but now they don't they don't care anymore
You're right its a shame. If I worked there I would be calling people I know who needs food to go and get it.
Bro, it expired
Exactly!!
@@jackdoherty3026 , ummm you need to learn how to read a label! It says sell by date NOT BEST BY DATE ! Big difference
The stores are over charging us as is and these store's due to regulations have to throw food away. It's such a shame of this country people are going hungry and can't afford to live so sad.Glad you sharing and finding homes for some of this food.
As if they couldn't have put a reduced price on it instead of throwing it away.
Very nice haul. I’m glad you’re sharing your good fortune finds with other families. That’s why you guys keep getting the good hauls, because you help others. So proud of your work frugal daddy and frugal mommy!
Wow what a find Bravo Frugal Daddy
Those hams are bone-in and spiral cut, and will make many hearty meals, even when most of the meat is gone. A meaty hambone is always good to have. Many years ago, I was at someone's home for a large holiday dinner, and a spiral cut ham was served. After dinner, I was helping with the clean up, and was surprised when the hostess was going to discard the still somewhat-meaty hambone into the garbage. I asked her if I could take it home instead and make soup with it. She apparently did not know it could be used in this manner. I thanked her for the lovely dinner and for the meaty ham bone. At home the next day, I cooked a big pot of delicious split pea soup with the ham bone. I also brought her a large container of the soup for her family's enjoyment. After that, she would save her hambones for me, and I would reciprocate with bringing her some soup.
I was so happy to see Frugal daddy eating that ham!!!! He was almost delirious finding those hams!! I do hope you freeze a couple for yourselves ☺️😉
Wish I had a ham to eat. Where I live they do not deliver groceries and I am in my 70's have COPD arthritis and alergies and terrible pain in my legs and back and I cannot get deliveries to my home. Wish I lived where it is warm and no snow. I really get excited watching you get all that food from the dumpster.
I'd freeze five if I had the room. Enough for the year.
Sixteen hams!!!!!!!
Now, that is going to be a ham bake!!!!!!!!!!! Frugal Mommy and Daddy.....what good sandwiches you are going to have. I had to go to the grocery store today. I bought three dozen eggs......they were going to mark up the prices on eggs tonight. I may have to put a laying hen in the backyard.
Have you ever sautéed your cabbage in butter and combined it with cooked noodles? My (Eastern European) mother used to make this as side dish. Goes nicely with ham.
Do you rent out Frugal Daddy to dumpster dive for people that cannot physically do it? LOL. Only joking... ....kind of.......Hugs to you both. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Cabbage and noodles!,, polish here!
Wow!! Love seeing these rescued!! It’s so satisfying!
🙏😱🙏👍👍
wow cha ching $$$ Jackpot! Wtg To Frugal Daddy and Mommy too!
Just one ham would feed 10 at a sit down meal. What a wonderful gift from Aldi. FD, you just brightened up a lot of family meals. Be safe out there!
I’m glade u know people to take them. I remember when ham wasn’t that much. Times have changed. U guys are doing a wonderful job.
You guys need to keep a few hams for yourselves. You already have ham for Easter. Great dive FD!
Wow,a lot of ham !!!!it can feed the whole village, keep it up frugal Daddy 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
WOW!!! Let's ham it up! That's Awesome. They will feed some people and animals. WOW. Good job frugal daddyo🤗
Oh my gosh! That is outrageous that they would throw all of that ham away!!!! But you saved them Frugal Daddy and I am glad you did. That was fantastic.! Frugal Mommy the cooked ham looks delish and so does your soup.
We all know the date is just a sell by or best if used by date. Ham is good well beyond that date. I'm glad for you to spread the wealth. Love it!
A dead Beaver…Daddy is like the “Wombles of Wimbledon Common” collecting everything! Under ground, over ground, wandering free the Wombles of Wimbledon Common are we, making good use of the things that we find, everyday things that everyday folks leave behind…..” 😃👍👍👍👍
Those hams are fantastic! We’ve been working our way through the three we got. Excellent!
That's why you can't get anything in the store.they put it in the trash.people are starving. Why don't they give it to food banks
That Ham looks so yummy from England love home cooked ham
What a haul and Shari g with the needy. So many starving and struggling and they throw it away!
Yummy! Now I'm hungry. Nice haul. 👍👍👍
You can have anything you like just as long as it's HAM!!!😉
Wow what an awesome ham score! Looks delicious 🥰I’m sure that is cured ham and will last way beyond the Best Buy date. I’m happy for you guys. Great job frugal daddy!
That's totally evil for this to happen. There's so many people who are going hungry. I'm so happy that frugal daddy got all of the hams. You guys are so sweet for sharing these hams with others. This type of ham is totally delicious! They're vacuum packed and pre cooked. So therefore they'll last the due date.
That is great work in saving all those hams from the landfill, you are amazing 😍🐖🐖
😱😱 what a BIG BLESSING GOD IS GOOD ALWAYS !!! I get so excited when I see your videos. Makes me happy to see the beautiful smile on your faces. GOD bless you 🙏🙏🙏
Wow just wow so awesome
Hi Frugal Family, there are lots of food
in the dumpster and so many meats.
This is such a blessing FD and you
are doing an exceptional job.
Some the meat can be donated.
Good thing you can or freeze those suckers and anlot of ham bones for beans yum
I get why he got teary eyed. Able to bless others with such a great find! 😊
😂😂😂😂 keto diet and only eating ham, you crack me up. I can’t believe how much ham there was, great save fd. Take care and thank you for sharing 👍🙏❤️
I cannot believe people are being so wasteful at this time when food is so expensive and inflation is making prices even crazier! Do you know how many pots of beans you could put ham in and really feed a wonderful amount of homeless people that have nowhere to go and no food to eat. It’s downright shameful! I’m so glad you rescued those hams and they will be used to help fill somebody’s belly and help them to survive and live another day. Love to you frugal mommy and daddy.
Fantastic find with the hams. The one you cooked looks soo good. FD needs a bigger knife for cutting it.
👍🐖💖😁
Wow what a blessing indeed 🙏
Awesome Dive Finds Frugal Daddy !! 🎉
Oh my gosh ... One year the after holiday hams just got cheaper and cheaper. Although it was a time of financial plenty for us, we bought enough ham to last a year for ourselves, the parents, and sibs; except, my entire growing up family was never super big ham eaters and I think it took 18-24 months before it was all gone.
Thank you for salvaging all of these hams and sending the word out.
Awesome dive. People are lucky to get food from you especially ham. What a luxury to eat ham.
Omg, my mouth is watering, watching Frugal Daddy eat that. When we were kids,, my mom would make steamed cabbage with ham chunks in it. Also beans and ham hock. Yummy
Wow frugal Daddy you have done it again.
Amazing score your so resourceful.
10min for over 500 dollars of food.
Keep up the important work you are doing saving items from the landfill.
Greetings from England
I was kind of expecting the guy to knock his ham on that pole sticking out the dumpster 😁
Ole Daddy brining home the bacon lol
Good evening x
Thank you for saving all food.
I really like ham that isn't spiral. Only because I find it tends to dry out easily. But the kind I carve myself stays nice and juicy.
But I was given a spiral ham, I would of course accept it.
that is awesome whole bunch of hams glad yall saved em
It’s so frustrating to see stores throw away all of this. I know people that are hungry wouldn’t worry about a stupid expiration date
FD hit the ham jackpot!! That is just soooo incredible!!
Great dive FD!
Hey FM….try Hubbard squash if you want a very large squash that will keep a long time.
Also, try roasting the squash, carrot and onion for your soup.
Great score love your videos thanks ❤️ 😊
That was amazing. So glad they will go to people that need them.
No ham left behind! Lol
Fan-freakin-tastic amazing spectacular one! Frugal daddy ! Wonderful saves from the dive! Frugal mommy as always fantastic recap! All that ham ! Wow!
🎊 😮🎉❤ YES!!! HUGE FRUGAL FAMILY SCORE F.DADDY!!! HOW FREAKING AWESOME!!! 🤩
This is so wonderful . Great hall.
Frugal Daddy is a rockstar! So many family benefits from his adventures. What a waste to just throw them away.
Oh my god the vacuum saved the day as would mine haaa. So glad I am not alone! That makes me physically sick those hams were thrown out. Thank you for saving them from going to heaven after being buried in the dump and not feeding people as they were meant to be. And now they will. hugs
Awesome haul
Oh my word! What a haul!! Enjoy watching your channel. Thank you.
OMG as many hungry people as we have now it’s awful Bless you for sharing these things with us
Scalloped potatoes and ham...yum yummy! Here we go!
My grandparents slaughtered the pig in november, and had the ham in the chimney all winter! They would have snickered about expiration dates, LOL
OMG what a score 🎉❤
I know people that stood in line for 2 hours at the food bank to get a small piece of ham and some food around the holidays!
Hi Patricia 👋
Omg that’s a lot of ham! You guys are so kind to share! Happy for everyone! It looks good ha ❤😂
Good heavens no ham actors here! In NewZealand we paid nearly $80 for a half boneless ham! It's outrageous that perfectly good meat is thrown out as some people go hungry,so not fair to those in need. So happy for my favorite frugal family that you rescued the hams! ENJOY 🛒🛍️
Awesome score!! Glad you can give these guys a home 😂
Frugal mommy please save the seeds out of the butternut squash! You can plant them for this year coming! And if you plant them now you can transplant the plants and have a wonderful bounty this summer!!!!!😋😍😁
That is so awesome!!!! I love that you share with so many other families!!!
You could donate those hams to soup kitchens and your friends and family. What an amazing find Fd, love you guys.
I just went to Aldi tonight……eggs $4.99/doz. Ridiculous!!
Save the ham bones to season beans, soup, etc.
great haul!
*Does it get any better than than this? Wow wow wow, what an outstanding haul, congratulations to you 🙌🙏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻*
Congratulations, you have started the new year out with a super duper haul😁
My goodness that was a haul! In the UK we call uncooked ham, gammon. Due to it being salty, I was taught by my gran to soak it for twelve hours at least in cold water. It draws out the salt. You can change the water once or twice if it's a large ham. At Christmas I cook the ham in cider, or original coca-cola. Any that's left uneaten, I cut into cubes and freeze then make cheese egg and ham open top pies.
Omg!,,what a pork dream come true! Great job FrugalDaddy!,,,
Awesome find 👍🏽🙏🏽✝️👍🏽👍🏽
I like Kent Pumpkin Soup more than Butternut. Here we call Butternut a Pumpkin and not a Squash. I used butternut recently in a different meal and thought it was too flowery 😅
I grew a bunch of baking pumpkins this year. They smell like watermelon or cucumbers and are pretty sweet for a pumpkin. I wonder if I could make pumpkin soup like butternut squash soup.
Thank you for saving all that food!
Great find fd. We had a ham for Christmas dinner. Enjoy your hams 😋 have a great weekend. 😀🇨🇦
I'm glad to see him getting that free food. I have been told some places quit giving food away from restaurants at the end of the night because one of them was sued or were threatened to be sued. Don't remember the reason for that but so many stooped after that which is a shame. Because of them other people are missing out.
Amy used to get Panera bread from dumpsters. Guessing bread can't be donated from the dumpster anymore but don't understand why bread can't be donated straight from the restaurant since there's no maintaining temperature.
This is ridiculous . As usual your generosity is amazing 🎉❤
Oh my that ham looks delicious. I seriously went to buy one on my groceries yesterday the size of a softball and it was $13.49. I asked her if it was a mistake, it was so tiny.
…but then the cut to FD wheeling in all jab in the wheelbarrow …
OMG I peed myself laughing!!!😂
