It also makes me think of the good times we share with those we love, but it also reminds me that one day those people will leave... something bittersweet, like life itself.

It also makes me think of the good times we share with those we love, but it also reminds me that one day those people will leave... something bittersweet, like life itself. Let's not forget what is worthwhile in this life.
The sublime made sound.
To be a little flippant, this is to me, the sound of the joy and sadness of life.
For me its the sound of a sad victory. The true definition of "I've won, but at what cost?"
@@Dirtbuik The soundtrack of a pyrrhic victory, if there ever was one.
Unapologetic victory, even in pain
I have the same feeling while listening Bach, and honestly almost always. When I love something, someone, just life - I feel how fragile everything is. It will end, but it's so great.
Somewhere, someone is plotting my downfall while I listen to this.
Silly little man - i've been plotting your downfall for a very long time.

Kubrick was a genius in his use of such a powerful composition in the soundtrack of his (criminally underrated) movie Barry Lyndon. It just wouldn't be the same movie without the Sarabande giving the tone of the most dramatic scenes.
💯💯💯
He used Handel in a lot of his films

In his time period he was said to be the best even Mozart and bach agreed. This piece is truly powerful.
@@rh449 Nevertheless, Bach was still pretty qualified to give an educated opinion on Händel's compositions. Depending on where they were and who their patrons were, musical directors definitely could have more fame/clout in their time than most composers did.

I'm confused with the modern world, with modern music, with low moral around me, and I found my soul cure here in classical music, where it all begins in the golden age of the Renaissance...
I’m here to claim my… *_satisfaction_*

How can a human being create something so majestic and awe-inspiring?
They have better education in that time, much better the our modern one. we are so falling behind our ancestor
In a time where they hadn't an accurate world map or religous persecution was on its peak I'm going to doubt that their education system was "much better".
they had more time to think about the things they do. our society is waaay more fast the those hundreds years ago.
Only a genius can.
Talent, discipline and hard work.
Imagine how the composer's mind would be blown finding out there exists a medium where his composition has been listened to over 11 million times, all the while being adored and discussed amongst people who have never met each other.

Allah did not forbid music. This is a complete fabrication. There is no such ruling in the Holy Qur'an. Music is a wonderful gift from Allah to people. Those who want to discredit Islam fabricate such lies in the name of the Prophet Muhammad.
Yes. There have always been those who corrupt or misinterpret. It's only in certain situations it becomes forbidden like for example if you start using it like the black metal band Mayhem did. They were doing evil stuff and the music was meant to influence others to do so too. People should use their brain, common sense. It seems a bunch of fanatical idiots are interpreting the quran in certain places.
This is deep and chilling and majestic.
