Hi friends!! I have made a little shop to sell some of the digital products from this video. I hope they are useful to you and your families! payhip.com/AHeartForHomeEducation
My twins just started sleeping through the night a couple months ago after over a year of waking up for two babies. I want to wake up earlier now but I just tell myself it’s ok to play catch up on sleep for a while!! I earned it lol.
Almost cried when you me tioned being gentle if not sleeping through the night. This is me, on and off the past 6 years as I have 4 qnd the youngest is still struggling with sleeeping through the night. Thank you for the reminder that it is a season and that it is OK if my morning routing is not beginning at 5 AM.
Same!! I only have 2 (oldest will be 3 and youngest will be one so we haven't officially started schooling yet) but I feel like I cannot get ahead of it. Anytime I start to wake up ahead of them it lasts a week before someone gets sick, starts teething, having nightmares, etc.
I am one who would love to see your mom binder and resources included in there! Mines definitely need a refresh! Thank you for all these tips! I will be incorporating the sheet of your reoccurring grocery buys. Such a smart idea!!
Thanks for the Mother Culture book share. Just ordered it and am enjoying all the insights. We are not a Charlotte Mason homeschool family, we are more eclectic loving literature-based curriculum through Sonlight, but I really enjoyed this random episode of yours that popped up for me. Implementing new routines this year too, particularly for myself to wake up earlier (not a morning person) -Subscribed :)
Beautiful video - thank you for sharing! I would love to see your mom binder, hear more about your Sabbath reading material, and how you balance your life and being a content creator (working mama)
This is one of the most helpful and inspiring homeschool prep videos that I've ever seen, and I've seen many. I'll definitely be referencing this all week this week as I prepare!
Another mom suggested pack lunches night before as if going to school, work, whatnot so then you can just have a picnic or errand without a fuss. Leftovers work too for this.
America, you have so much wisdom and insight. I love your videos. I always am so encouraged afterwards. I’ve been working on some of these habits this summer, but we’ve had so much trips and a day camp interspersed every few weeks, that it feels like we are going two steps forward, one step back. It’ll be nice for our regular routine to pick back up in September.
Wonderful video! Gotta love a breakfast rotation, that takes so much mental effort off my plate for sure, doing it that way. I need that same system for our dinners though. I’m also in the process of making my list of our family dinner meals, I find myself needing a visual especially when transitioning from one season to another. seeing yours gets me excited for the prep!
This was inspiring, thank you! I love how you made a point to say about being gentle if in season of sleepless nights. I also found your meal masterlist very helpful in the way it broke down meals to snacks and packed vs in house lunches. Thank you!
This was very helpful, thanks so much for sharing. These habits seem very wise, and I can see how they would take off some of that mental load. Love how practical they were too. Abby is great, isn't she. Thanks again - Jerusha
Did you habit train kids to stay in room until wake up time or do you usually have to wake them? I really ought to make an inventory list for groceries- that makes so much sense! Our breakfast meals are almost identical and we do sourdough pizza for Friday nights in the Fall-Spring as well! So many wonderful and helpful ideas, America! Thank you for sharing!
I initially habit-trained them to stay in their rooms until 7:30 with time-to-wake clocks. It seems to have made that the rhythm of their bodies naturally now though! For the first several days, I'd just wait outside their rooms and quietly walk them back to their rooms and say "wait until your clock turns green". I don't think that took long, especially with older children like L! Might take longer for a littler one like Z! :)

Please do a tour of the mom binder, thank you so much for the video!
What wonderful rhythms!!
And bless you for mentioning Mamas with babies waking, I love rising at 5 but this season of night waking is challenging me.
I'd love to know what you make for your baked good snacks

I'm curious about the mom sabbath. Do you cook during that time ? Do you usually leave kids w dad that day?
These were lovely ideas, I needed this thank you!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!
Would love to see a tour of your Mother’s Binder - I am putting one together for myself this year also.
Love all the tips. Lunch is my hardest meal also. I need to create a meal plan for that! Would love a video once yours is complete.

Love this! Can we see your mom binder? I have never heard of that!
Yes I’d love to see it!!!
Could you share the link for the Canva templates you use?
My oldest (13) has woken up between 5:45 and 6:15 since he was a baby… my wake up to get up before him is 5am… I can barely do that!! It’s so early.
That is so early! I have friends who have the same struggle no matter they've tried!
One day my 5yo will sleep through the night… the toddlers even do better 😂😅
Haha, oh boy I hope so!! 🤍
Can u link the template for meal plan
How often is a bathroom deep clean?
