There isn't a lot of "reviewing", I apologize. To compensate, I'd describe more of my opinions here (brace for impact): Seating: I've had them further up north than Stafford, they are acceptable in my eyes. Armrests are too thin (I'm fine with them slightly lower than usual) and thats really it. Amenities: they're alright, 9/10. Whoever decided the plug sockets should be so low down behind each seat should be banned from making transport-related decisions altogether. I personally like the reading lights behind each seat (can be dimmed as well) and everything else is fine. Toilet door tapping into British Leyland: the buttons inside the toilets on 805012 coach A (see footage) barely worked, I had to press the button outside to get it to close, after a few times of trying to make the system think I am trying to close the door. I thought it worked when a lady used it before me, but oh well. Everything else was fine, but please grab on the handrail if you stand and pee. Don't give the cleaners extra hassle. Lastly, I do like the single seats. Available in coach A near the wheelchair area, seat numbers (iirc) are 01 and 03. I have no comment on anything else as they're either the same with refurbished Pendolinos or copy and pasted from previous IETs.
Additional note: In standard class, there are no cup holders or any grooves on the table for similar purposes. Good luck bringing any drinks into the peasantry areas without it sliding sideways whilst your train blows thru a random Northamptonshire / Warwickshire / Staffordshire / etc settlement at (hopefully) 110mph.
side note: according to RTT on departures for tomorrow (03/06), most services to chester and holyhead are 80x and no longer voyagers, and some services terminating at crewe were operated by 80x edit: most services, not all, but check anyway on any train thats not that common
Apparently on today 1D88 didn't have allocations on RTT, and 1A54 was said on there to be 221102 and 221108. Thanks for the add, but just to be on the safe side I take your information with a pinch of salt.
Do the Class 805's which operate between London and Holyhead offer Standard Premium accommodation, that is to say a First Class seat but no complimentary food or drink? My guess is that they don't, if only one carriage ("J") is actually First Class! It's good to see more seats arranged in bays of four around a fixed table and a picture window in the Standard class carriages!
There are NO standard premium accommodation on Evero trains. Guess they realised £40 from London to Warrington in a Standard Premium Pendolino was too cheap to be a thing and should not exist on the Everos.
I did also notice better window alignment than what I'm used to (GWR), and more luggage racks throughout - two good things to have on an intercity train.
Pretty surprising that AWC decided to get another train on-board announcers, Justine Harris on the 221s, Emma Lintern on the 390s, and Tanya Rich on the 805s and the 807s apparently. Didn't realise the 805s are out today after the timetable change or else I would have surely get on one!
The launch was really low-key, all I got was one twitter post of someone quoting RTT data (which turns out not fully correct, but did the job) and one fellow passenger confirming that 805009 indeed ran the 1037 Crewe to Euston. Sometimes things just randomly happen. The c2c Class 720 debut (not the naming event at Fenchurch Street, 720609/610 were first to run!) was more abrupt than this though...
@@marleykv3603 operatora need to clearly announce when a new train or station or railway line enters service/opens. i use c2c regularly (ish) but i didnt know the 720s were in passanger service for an embarassing 6 months. i can literally see c2c trains passing by from my bathroom
I suppose c2c did unveil it at Fenchurch Street (hence what I said), but it was so much later than 720609/610 debuting on 27/09/2023 for rush hour shoebury runs. Somehow. I would be massively pissed if I miss the first 701 to or from Reading though...
A TikTok popped up today about the 805s running from 2 June, but when I came across the video, it was already half 3 and I don't want to head up to Stafford and take a journey down to London. Anyways, talking about 701s, is it just me but I don't see them running Waterloo - Windsor & Eton Riverside services? That services still runs with 450s, 455s, and 458s (before the timetable change). Hopefully will see them on SWR services more now.
I wouldn't make a video about pride month, it'd be a video of literally nothing happening. I lack the financial budget to go anywhere further north than Manchester or Liverpool, let alone Scotland. My mental health is indeed not very good though. That's more relevant to me somehow.

@@marleykv3603 yep, thats true
The Class 805 Is A Good Train, They Are Similar To The Class 807.

On the camera portion, maybe it's because you hold the camera with your right hand, and it covers the microphone, but the right ear sound is muffled
All footages were taken on my phone, and no important audio were missed in that section anyway
Hi : Can you advise if this 'Tilting Type Rolling-stock Carriage train , al -la 'Penolino' !? Any 'feedback' gratefully received.
nice one mate
Things feel rewarding if you push yourself to it and yield good outcomes.

Reckon 701s only run weekdays mid-day with 2 returns from London to Windsor.
was it today? didnt another line open today in scotland? didnt pride month start? this is a lot for one day
No, its mens mental health month. Thats more important

Bit bland innit, I can just about remember travelling on an Intercity 43 back in the 90s . That was pretty depressingly bland too
Unfortunately everything has its own replacements.
