Thank you! I love the way marbling comes off on silk and in print. The Turkish call this ebru. My daughter has another channel and does something similar with fingernails, believe it or not. She's very good. I'll try to post a link.
This is Ariel's nail marbling channel. A few years ago she had 400 subscribers but gave up due to the impossibility of monetization under the new UA-cam policy. I'm trying to encourage her to start more videos despite that. Perhaps she can charge a subscription or get Patreon support. Either way, the old videos are up there. They are awesome, because she is a super talented kid. Here's her channel. Please encourage any friends into nails to subscribe! ua-cam.com/users/TheWaterMarbler
Thank you so much for sharing with us! Learned so much from your experimentation and your thoughts! Glad to meet you, your work area and your friends/family. May you have a wonderful new year!
For marbling on silk, yes. I'm not sure if it's even possible without sizing. My daughter did marbling on nails in her UA-cam channel using water, but it's for nail marbling and not fabric. Sizing is denser than water, so that's why the paint sits on top, where if you used just water, it would sink to the bottom. I would recommend carrageenan it Methocel. Thanks for watching. If you are interested in seeing nail marbling using enamels over water, please check out my daughter's channel thewatermarbler on UA-cam.
@@lotusleestarr Thankyou so much maam, it was really very informative and explanatory video will be trying your techniques and try to send you the pictures.
Você precisa de tecido de seda ou papel tratado com alume, tintas de marmorização Jaquard e dimensionamento como carragena ou methocel para tratar a água para que a tinta flutue no topo. Eu compro todos os meus suprimentos da Dharma Trading Company.
Tinture seta jacquard etichetta verde. È probabile che non sia possibile acquistare la seta in Svizzera, ma è possibile ordinarla direttamente da un distributore cinese o tailandese.
Me too. I believe the green label dyes are more dilute than the red and therefore able to float on top. But you see those dots? They were clumped and just sank to the bottom immediately. But the splotches don't usually end up in the print.
It was marvellous tactics for printing. EXCELLENT show case.THANKS!!!.

Can we do normal wash , would colors stay permanent..?
Yes, in delicates cycle after heat fixing paints. One exception is for hand-rolled hems. I would only ever hand wash those delicates.
@@lotusleestarr got it thanks for the reply
where can i buy ?
I buy all my silk marbling supplies, dyes, and silk blanks from www.dharmatrading.com.
I'm suprised the dye didn't drop to the bottom.
