There were still good individual performances too. We had a 100 yard rusher, a 100 yard receiver, and Zach still had 73 percent pass completion, 2 TDs, almost 300 yards passing, and no picks. The other team still found a way to keep it close despite that. We'll learn from our mistakes and get better. I'm glad we're learning these tough lessons coming off a tough win rather than a loss.
I've said before, we all have a man crush on coach sitake. I was still hoping for another blowout win. UTSA was a really good team with backup qb in 2nd half, 17-20 good. And cougars d did hold the best running back in the country to only 42 yards.
UTSA messed with Zack like crazy... but the ball handling and penalties are fixable. The O line struggled too. Did not look like a 10 ten O line for sure. However all said and done I think game was good for the team mentally. It always good to get punch in the mouth to open the eyes. I will say the our secondary was exposed today 👀
