I love listening to Sam Pitman. Dang he's a great guy. I need to find a podcast for Arkansas football to add to my list of things to listen to at work.
Sam Pitman is a good coach! I'd love to meet him. He seems so humble and happy for his guys and respects the opponent. I noticed players on both sides helping each other up after plays. It's nice to see sportsmanship like that.
He puts it on the line everytime. I really see a Heisman in his future if the team has a great season because we all know that award comes with a winning program. Just the facts.
Oh he’s a great player, a one man wrecking crew..But wasn’t it just a couple of weeks ago that you hog necks were calling for his head?! And why, because he extended himself trying to put the hammer down on A&M, but fumbled in the process! That guy is your program!
This was the best I've seen the offense play in a very long time. Whatever the receivers did to keep getting open, they need to do more of that! Defense was also better. We do have injuries and a bit of talent deficit in the secondary, but this gameplan was way better than playing zone out of 3-2 Dime all the time. This game was fun to watch
Well played gentlemen. It looks like there was a strategy change. If our D is this hurt, then we'll have to outscore them. Not sure if I'm right about that but it worked! So happy to see more successful passing plays. WPS!
Congrats to the coaches and players , I had a feeling you'd win this one big and you did, get healty the next 2 weeks and go on a tear the rest of the season, y'all are a good football team and can beat anybody left on your schedule if you stay healthy
Coach Pittman represents his team, his university, his state, and himself extremely well. A true gentleman in every sense. We are so fortunate to have this man at the helm of our great football program. He just impresses the hell of of me with his sincerity, humbleness, graciousness, knowledge, and common sense. 🐗 GO HOGS GO! 🐗
Glad to see that the HOGS haven’t quit. With the injuries they have excuses but looks to me that they are doing more with less on that side of the ball and there’s no doubt that they will get the right players to Fayetteville i think people have forgotten where we were a couple years ago already. At least now you should feel like we might not win every game but that we can be competitive in every game and that’s a 100 percent better than what we were and the program is getting better each year with Pittman and will continue to get better!
I'm not gonna lie, I'd lost all hope and had been real nasty the last 3 weeks. I had honestly thought we'd be lucky to get 1 more win this year. I still think 7-5 is most likely, but at least we'll get a bowl game. I'm so happy to get proven wrong.

While most other SEC teams non-conference games are bottom of the barrel FBS teams or even FCS teams, we played one of last years playoff teams (Cincinnati), one of the FCS playoff teams (Missouri state), BYU, and next is Liberty (6-1 and won their bowl game last year and only lost to wake forrest by 1 point). Our non-conference has been harder than pac-12 conference games.
It's amazing what shortages we have on defense is minimized when we decide to play all out football and actually balance out passing as well as the run!! Best performance so far.
Coach is class. Talked about BYU first off, their hospitality and what a good football team thy are. Saban? Always says Bama didn’t play good when they escape with a close win - never credits the other team for anything.. He’s such a poor sport

Let's pump the brakes, I was wrong about this team, but 9-3 is extremely unlikely. Our defense has 2 weeks to get healthy, but it's still not going to be great. I hope I get proven wrong and they come out looking much improved against Auburn.
@@TheIpwnkyle Arkansas should beat Auburn. The two games that will be most important are LSU and Ole Miss. i believe Ole Miss is beatable. They have had a very weak schedule this year and they padded their stats. Ole Miss defense is not good. Their QB does not throw the ball very well either. They run a lot this year. LSU will be the harder game. Their D line is pretty good. Go Hogs!

It was interesting to me that some folks started depreciating the significance of this win, by telling us that BYU wasn't really much of a team. They told us that this should have been a big win, just a pushover. Well, Vegas had the game as a toss up, and they know their stuff better better than so called fans!
Constructive critizism - my opinion, not looking to argue. First I will start by saying I am glad we won. Second I will say, this is a game we should have won, nothing to be excited about. Its equivelent to a participation trophie. Pros - Coach briles had an ok play calling game. Players did not give up. KJ is a beast. Cons - We still continue to shoot ourselfs, this will not hold up against the rest of our schedule, this has been an issue ALL season. Coach BO, you continue to show no improvment with our defense, what is the issue? Comments from myself - Coach pitman should fire BO based on the performance of our defense, it continues to decline per game. Coach pitman, whats the deal with all these penalties? My questions - What are we going to do moving forward to decrease the amount of self inflicting penalties per game? What are you going to do to address barry odoms defense performance?
That was BYUs best defense all day. LoL! I was glad to get a little bit of a good thing happening. Arkansas just destroyed the BYU defense with the magic trick by KJ in the first half. I think I pulled a patch of my hair out from frustration 😂
real question. why is Arkansas not using d Johnson, r Sanders and kj in a wildcat/ hog package. why not use more counter plays. we could have won the 3 games we lost even against mstate. why does bryles call good plays but then crappy plays and stupid reverses with slower players that never work. got alot to clean up in Fayetteville. all of the games were winnable. the coaches and players need to get their crap together

KJ Jefferson is a winner. That diving first down wasn't necessary but I am so proud of him to put it all on the line for Arkansas.

I've defended these coaches forever but who ever decided to let Jefferson run with ball up 17 three minutes to go needs to run some laps
