My favourite moment in this was near the end, your guy on drums did something I often find myself doing, think you're lined up for a nice, mid paced, 1 beat long, single stroke snare roll and the body says, "no time for that! Have a panic flam instead!" Haha It's those little moments that give me the most joy from music, the unexpected happy accidents, the little moments where your knockhole toghtens because even your don't know what's about to happen! It always warms my heart to see younger generations actually picking up instruments and playing actual live music, and to see it like this, a little 'Von Trap' rock band. Lovely. If I had been lucky enough to have had children, I hope we would also have jammed as a family. I hope you kept this up at least a little since the lockdowns ended. Just so wholesome.
Nice you can jam with your family, I'm the only musical one in mine, so I just play this in my bedroom to the backing track; hoping one day to be in a room with friends and play together again.
Thanks Amin - that time will come back soon I hope! I was also the only musician in my family when i was a young, but my kids seem to have caught the bug, which is great.
I start on F#, but it’s a simple chord progressin of D, F# and G. I tuned the guitar a semitone down to help with the singing...but those are the chord shapes used on the intro. And thank you!
@@RichieTee sing as Matt - it doesn't matter, but your expression - it's so brightly! Cause no one can be Matt, just this role is busy, but you can do what you do from your soul and that's cool) Greetings from Russia)
Thanks! I tuned the whole guitar down to Eb. Intro chords are D, F#, G. I start on the F#. Pre chorus B (add b2), Chorus G, Bm, F#. I think that’s it. Chord names based on shape in standard tuning.
