I miss your videos so much Madison 😢 I’ve bought the Way of Kings on a Sunday book spree, thinking about your recommendation, just to found out the day after about your tragic accident. I’ll continue to watch your past videos because they were so conforting. Hope you rest in peace 🎈
I'm always excited when I get a Madison Moon video drop notification but especially when it's a book haul or recent reads. I love the reviews & can't wait to hear the recommendations (just started the Louise Penny series) but PLEASE keep them ASMR. You really do it so, so well! My view is if it ain't broke don't fix it. Love them just as they are. 😊
I love your book reviews in ASMR style! Keep 'em coming :-D I just bought Dance of Thieves and a bunch of Scandinavian crime books. Easter is not far away and Norway is big on going to our remote cabins and reading crime books at that time :-P
Great video, thank you so much! I love how passionate you are about the books. That in itself is ASMR. Great channel with awesome content, please keep doing your thing it’s awesome!
hi madison! i missed your book videos, and i'm glad you posted one today! i always look forward to them since they're so comforting. i absolutely love falling asleep to your videos, but especially your videos relating to books. thank you for doing what you do!! 💕💕
Okay right off the bat, love your outfit and the hair today. It's giving me Morticia Addams. Second, this motivated me to read the 'Strange the Dreamer' series because that has been sitting in my Kindle for a while now but it didn't seem interesting enough to me to pick it up, but now I'm having second thoughts on that. Let's see where I can fit it in my ever growing TBR list cause no matter if it is on Kindle or physical, I have a book buying problem too. 😅😅 Anyway, Happy Monday, Madison. This was a really relaxing video.❤️❤️ I should say this, I love how kind you are to books. Even if you didn't like it, you are very respectful to the effort that went behind it. I really like that.❤️ PS- I finished The Great Alone by Kristian Hannah and What Happened to You? by Bruce D. Perry and Oprah Winfrey. Those were excellent recommendations, Madison, so thank you. SPOILER: In TGA, when Cora passed away, I was bawling my eyes out and also when Leni and the whole town were saying goodbye to Cora at the end. That was so heartbreaking. The best part of this book was that it sticks with you. After finishing, the book, I found myself thinking about it at random the next day at work and feeling sad. God, just following Leni on this journey in her Alaskan life which is sometimes dangerous but at the same time, has its cozy moments, was just so good. She reminded me of Kya from Where the Crawdad's Sing, but where Kya had lost all faith in humanity and their sense of justice, thus, she was ready to do anything to survive, even though she had killed Chase, Leni had retained her naivete and just wanted a fresh start at the end without all the burden of lies. It was such an honour following both these ladies in their journey. If you want to add something more, please do!
Morticia Addams! Such a nice compliment thank you 😊 You definitely gotta read Strange the Dreamer, it’s so special and unique! So glad you enjoyed The Great Alone and What Happened To You! Those are both such incredible books. And yes totally agree with everything you said about The Great Alone. Very reminiscent of Where the Crawdads Sing for sure. The story continues to stick with me as well! I just was so invested in the story and it’s Alaskan setting, as well as the family dynamics. Kristin Hannah continues to write strong female lead characters and I am here for it!! 💜
I hope you realise how appreciated you are Madison. Not only does your channel help me sleep when I need it, it also inspires and motivates my reading. 🤍📚
RIP you sweet sweet soul. I am comforted in knowing I got this message to you before you passed. May peace be with your loved ones. You’ll be so very missed. 🤍
Brandon Sanderson is phenomenal. Love his Mistborn books. The Patrick Rothfuss books are my favorite pelican fantasy of all time, but I’ll warn you he only wrote the first 2 books in the trilogy and we’re still waiting for #3. The other two authors I recommend in this space are Scott Lynch and Joe Abercrombie. Have fun!!
You should definitely check out Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson, it’s about an orphan girl in a world that magic is based on metals that you ingest. And the bad guy has already won. The character development is crazy good and you will get very attached to the characters.
Oh yes I plan to read all things Sanderson because of how obsessed I am with Way of Kings! I keep almost buying Mistborn and then I’m like…let’s finish this other series first 😂
@@MadisonMoonASMR Oh that will be fun to hear your thoughts on his work, don’t be afraid to take all the time you need to really soak in all the characters and worldbuilding in his books. ^^
your videos are lovely as usual, and i always get reminded how unreaaal you are 😵💫🥰 also the necklace is so pretty!! you had such a nice vision for it
Have you read GRR Martin’s “Game of Thrones” books? If you enjoy, or are seeking to enjoy, more epic fantasy books, Martin’s novels are pretty ubiquitous and canonical for a reason- they are excellent.
You're so welcome on the Braiding Sweetgrass rec! Really glad you enjoyed it as much as I did, and that you're spreading the word through your channel. Check out the podcast For the Wild to keep going down this path. I know you said no more epic fantasy recs lol, but check out Wheel of Time! Sanderson was such a fan that he actually wrote the final book in the series after Robert Jordan died prematurely. Just a heads up tho that the first book in WoT is a little less original/fun as the rest of the series, since it was *intentionally* revisiting LOTR. Also, keep in mind the first book was published in 1990. :)
I will absolutely check out that podcast! Thanks again for the recommendation 😊 Oh yes I’ve heard of Wheel of Time! I will probably read that series too 😅
Keep your book content ASMR please, it's perfect!💕 Since you like cozy fantasy, I just finished Half A Soul and you might like it. It's Regency-inspired romance with faeries (it's basically Bridgerton and Holly Black's love child!). It's a very light and quick read (barely above 200 pages).
I just read Gilded and Cursed by Marissa Meyer, and kept the dust jackets on both, suffering.😆 They were SO good, but I am partial to Fairy Tale retellings.
1.). Travis Baldree is the man. Most well known for his narration of audio books (he’s the best in the biz), this is his first go at being an author (I think). Check out his most popular series (narrating) by Will Wight, it’s called the Cradle series, and it’s amazing. 2). Welcome to The Cosmere! Sanderson is my favorite author, and his Cosmere books are simply fantastic. The series you are reading, The Stormlight Archive, is not complete. It’s going to be 12 volumes by the time it’s done, though when the 5th volume is released next year, it will be the end of “arch 1”. 3.) Patrick Rothfuss is correct. He is a great writer, and his first two books in “The King Killer Chronicles” are among the best I’ve read. However, reading him is a trap, as we’ve been waiting on book 3 for like 10 years, and it’s nowhere in sight, so keep that in mind before you start!
This is terribly late. Like 2 months late but I just finished a book I think you'd enjoy. It's called The Library of the Unwritten by AJ Hackwith. It's about a wing of the library in Hell.
Patrick Rothfuss did write the most amazing 2 books ever... HOWEVER, its been years and years and still no 3rd book. so I almost wanna warn you against it since its not finished and he's just procrastinating like a mad man at this point. Its almost too painful to start knowing it has no end. (Was meant to be a trilogy)
@@MadisonMoonASMR Madison.. my heart is absolutely shattering into pieces hearing about your passing. I can't really come to terms with it. Thank you so much for the great book reviews/asmr. I will miss you SO much. I'm thinking of you and your family. Rest in eternal peace.

Yaaay, another book video 🥰
I'm supposed to be trying to fall asleep and here I am adding all these books to my amazon cart😂
Me fr 🤣

You hair and your signature flutter taps! Incredible.

I haven’t! I’ve of course watched the show like most of the world. The series seems daunting since it’s so much 👀

Ah I hope you enjoy it! It’s such a sweet book.
You should read The Serpent and the Wings of Night. It has great reviews and the sequel comes out in April. Would love more cover gripping 😊

Can someone tell what happened to her? She was so young... and beautiful. Just breaks my heart
Some kind of boat accident. Don't quote me though, her family wants it private.
