Plus, she can use Kaslana martial arts, akimbo guns and the combat cross all at once, a feat nobody else is capable of.

@@kevinstadre no, because Sirin is the HoV right now. After Fu Hua left her to distract Kevin, Kiana lost so much of her control over her Herrscher powers that she cannot even use Void Drifter anymore.
Besides Kiana is a clone bearing both the real Kiana and Sirin's DNA. Technically, she and Theresa, another of Otto's little experiments, are not true Kaslanas. Further, Kiana is a completely self-trained fighter who barely knows any of the Kaslana martial arts. Even Durandal knows more than her, and she's no Kaslana.

I hope one day characters like this appear in Genshin. This moveset is gorgeous
1:24 Small gripe but you can see that the bowstring is BEHIND her head instead of infront, which means when she releases the string to fire, it's gonna just smack her in the back of the neck.

In my opinion, this battlesuit honestly could have been a peak character moment for Durandal (like Kiana's HoF) had she received more screentime and character buildup. I think it's the design, because she looks like a Kaslana here. I get that this suit was really canon and that Palatinus Equinox resembled more of Durandal's Schariac heritage. But that was just my thought (She's my favorite battlesuit gameplay- wise).
She's a Kaslana tho, and I think we'll see more about her. Maybe something involving her anchor, or maybe a third APHO? Who knows

I love this game and I cant believe I just got into it just now. I hope more content releases for Honkai. If I didnt discover Genshin last October I probably wouldn't have known this game existed. This game is spectacular! Pls more Honkai Mihoyo!

I just loves how over the top the new battle suits are getting. ITS AWESOME AND VERY ANIME!!!!
To be fair, Doodoo and Rita's latest suits are more magical than scientific. This new suit is definitely magic based, since Durandal only got it by merging with a magical sword.
Even Otto doesn't know too much about this suit, and he's had five years to study it. And he has the Void Archive, aka an Unlimited Whatever You Want Works.
New Durandal valk looks great! Too bad I'm saving for the EVA collab and for HoT.
Asuka is free to farm though so you can whale for durandal. Plus 4.4 and 4.5 will have quest mission worth roughly 6k quartz so that's 2 ten rolls. I have 20 rolls left in my guaranteed pull in the expansion gacha so durandal will be coming home for me.

Actually, most of the Herrschers were tormented into transforming by Schisckal. Sirin and Hellmaru, possibly the ice girl as well, are ones that can be laid at Otto's feet.
Had Otto kept his rabid mongrels on a leash, this game would be called Honkai Impact 2nd, since Sirin would have probably never awakened.
