The best music....loggers are a special breed of people..my husband and I still do it the old fashion way.... Tractor and chain saw....lol... Have a nice day !
I don't know. I think using a mini Madill or medium sized tower would be more cost effective than 5 shovels. The processor head is nice to have in that dog hair timber though. I was a rigging rat for 10 years in western Washington in the 80's & 90's. I logged with 110 Washington Yarders, 09 madills, thunderbird's, Skagits, Bergers. Some nice medium sized tubes & several swing Yarders. I ran several different skidders - 518 cat was nice, Garrett 25 was nice, mountain logger. I logged up in Ketchikan the summer of 90 that was fun. The bar scene up there was nuts back then. In my last yrs I Yarder thinned - that was different but fun.

This is the way we should have been logging in the 90's when I was still in the woods.

Just amazing.... 👍
Was this fire abatement due to burn scarring?
Nope this area has not been burned.
What kind of drone are you working with? Awesome quality, was thinking of getting one!
I use a mavic pro
Is that more cost effective than just getting a mini madill . That is definately pecker pole logging.
With a swing yarder you can put one guy on the riggen to put you on logs.
