See a lot of people just immediately saying Jon Jones would win, I think Jon Jones has the highest possibility to win but I don't think there's a clear cut winner, because let's put this in perspective wrestling is very dominant in MMA as it's been shown before, if Lesnar gets a hold of Jon Jones the fight could be a over before it even begins. But of course Jon Jones is not going to play the wrestling game with Brock he's going to try to keep his distance but if the fight ends up on the ground it's over for Jon Jones.

I honestly do wonder. Randy Couture makes me wonder. Yes it was 2 rounds and a TKO but for him to do as well as he did, at 220lbs against a 265lbs man (on weigh in night, let alone rehydrated, probably closer to 280lbs) 14 years younger than him, when Randy was 45 (Brock now is the age Randy was in this fight), fighting quite evenly with him, overpowering him up against the cage despite Brock's 2 takedowns and control, damaging him, it makes me wonder what, in my opinion, a far more creatively dangerous striker like Jones (although Couture was a master dirty boxer but Jones was just so unpredictable), who's taller, younger and also a wrestler (who outwrestled DC, an Olympian who ragdolls people) could do to Brock. In my opinion with Jones at heavyweight, it always comes down to the question, will he gas carrying the extra weight, will he gas fighting much, much bigger men who are used to carrying around and fighting other men with extra weight?
I still feel the same with the Jones-Stipe fight, I feel like Stipe (having already stared down the barrel at 265lbs Ngannou and totally out-struck him and bounced his head back in the first fight, before explosively wrestling and dominating him for 25 minutes), when you then look at how he's extremely used to beating much, much bigger men than Jones and doing so for 25 minutes if need be, I just don't know how Jones can keep up if he doesn't get an early knockout? McGregor gassed initially going up 15lbs heavier than he had before and 25lbs up from his previous fight, are you really telling me Jones wouldn't, going up anywhere from 15-40lbs and having to wrestle men 25-45lbs heavier than him?

The thing people sleep on with Brock is his hitting power. His striking is average but he did knock down a few heavyweights with a straight jab. Jon wouldnt know what hit him having a guy 60lbs bigger than you smack you. Tough fight that i think Jones would win but i wouldnt sleep on Brock
