Whenever I hear David Pawson preaching He makes me rethink about everything in my life and everything I learnt over the years ❤ so simply put yet so powerful
@@PrevMedHealth I expect its the same for lots of people. I've been listening to Jacob Prasch especially the last year or so . But I think I wouldn't have benefited so much without David's teaching . Someone else said that listening to Jacob was like doing a postgraduate degree. I guess David's bible series is like a B A . God bless Kay
I am reading 1 and 2 Kings now, and I love David’s teachings and his insights. It makes my reading more fun and is clarifying, deepening the truth. I thank you to the Lord who loves us so much so that we are so blessed and privileged with the Bible to know You and Your ways and wills in an easy way, maybe hard way through the experience.
I will be doing an exposition on Christmas. Not to make a case for it but to make a case for its benign nature yet its value as a tool or vehicle for spreading the truth of the kingdom.
Excellent. There's a detail Mr Pawson left out in this video, but something I think makes the books of Kings special: They're the only books which tell the story of the northern kingdom of Israel. When the story is told again by Ezra in 2 Chronicles, he focuses _only_ on the southern kingdom of Judah, and leaves out Israel altogether! That's because Chronicles are _feel-good_ books! :-)
Hi with respect if you listen to David he is not saying we should bless pets ploughs and fishing nets - he is using this as an example of how the standards of the church have fallen - it’s about standing firm and not accepting the ways of the world The Bible no where encourages us to bless a pet - we should treat pets and the whole of nature with love and respect because they are Gods creation but listen carefully carefully to David says , he is not encouraging us to bless pets but to return to a a worship of the one and only God By focussing on animals and the world we are putting our focus and priorities into Gods creation…… not ‘The’ person who created ALL things The Lord Gid almighty
Hebrew ‘Barakah’ to bless is addressed only to humanity. Animals are not part of the redemtion, they are redeemed only because Human being is redeemed. In other words Jesus dis not die for animals on the cross, thus trees and dogs and pets are not bleesed by any mean. They are respected, but not bleesed. In fact it is an anti Yahweh system. It is a pagan practice of evil world
Hi I am so sorry.... and yes ...you are correct, this was a slip of the tongue as clearly indicated by the chart David recorded these videos , some 100 hours of recording in total over 5 weekends - 10 hrs recording per day - and all without notes. I make no excuses this is incorrect. We were genuinely not aware of it until you have now spotted it and we I will see if this can be corrected Thank you
My sister-in-law is a Jezebel. She and my brother have destroyed my entire family. Intentionally, unceasingly, and with out mercy. And she holds a position of authority in our old church. All of them know what she did and do not recognize it for evil.
*32:12** "And the worst thing Hezekiah did was...he was so angry with Isaiah the prophet for his preaching, that he ordered him bound and put inside a hollow tree trunk. And then he ordered two carpenters with a big saw to cut the tree in half."* *Oops! Manassah did that, not Hezekiah.*
@@nashvillain171 I am a pastor and tape most of my sermons. There are times when I cringe when hearing myself using the wrong word by mistake when listening to the recording. Thank you for pointing out the error here and for doing it in a simple and gentle way.
Just to clarify: it was not King Hezekiah that had Isaiah killed; it was actually his son, Manasseh, according to tradition, who was one of the worst kings in the history of the kings of Judah/Israel. Hezekiah was in fact a good king. Just study the Bible for yourselves to learn about the deeds of Hezekiah.
“According to tradition”- yes you are correct to state this however The Bible does not give us any evidence that Isaiah lived into the reign of King Manasseh, nor does it tell us what year Isaiah died or how he died.

Yes, Jeroboam set up places of worship in the North to prevent the people from going to Jerusalem for the Holy Days. Every Northern King kept the practice and it led to their downfall.

I have studied and read through the whole bible several times but David is pulling it all together for me. Makes me want to read it again too. K

32:57 is a great relief. I’ve always pondered on this.
*Excellent* (10/17/18) watch again
Great stuff
Still great in 2024
So serious and so funny at the same time. Incredible knowledge sometimes uncomfortable. Sadly missed.
Interesting comment about the double portion; The bible records Elijah perform 7 miracles and Elisha perform 14 miracles
Now that is amazing - thank you for sharing that

Hallelujah!
It gave me a lot of insight.
The Roman Catholic Church today is among the biggest proponents of syncretism.
36:58 *PLEASE HELP* What did Mr David Pawson MEAN by blessing pets, plows and fishing nets? Also, is it bad to bless a pet?

32:11 Oops. "And the worst thing Hezekiah did..." should have been "the worst thing Manasseh did."
22:01 aan found a piece of Elijah's altar

To be fair, he only got that one word wrong. He was already talking about Manassah, and concluded by saying "That awful king Manassah".
