First: No, the order has not shipped yet! Lol! Second: After watching this video back I noticed a yellow panel next to the yellow saddle! The yellow panel (pt number 4444) depending on whether or not it has a pattern on it is only found in the Black Falcon's Fortress, Black Knight's Castle, or Eldorado Fortress! ALL AMAZING SETS! I can't wait to find out if any of those are in there!!
It is really interesting to see all the detective work that goes into this. All these sets that you talked about are straight from my childhood, love them. 😊
@@ForBricksandGigglesHaha unfortunately I didn’t have most of them, but I did spend hours looking at those beautiful catalogs from the late 80s and early 90s.
Thanks for making these episodes, Stacey! I've been casually trying to learn the art of eyeing bulk lots for about a year now, but you're much better at it than me and it's very helpful and informative to watch your process and learn about the implications of certain pieces. Also thanks for the letting us know about the asterisk, I never would have known. 🤣Have a beautiful day!
@@matthewvogel7076 I’m glad you find them useful! It’s my favorite thing to do so sharing that is fun! And the asterisk is such a useful thing, I feel like I say it often but there are always new people and I think everyone needs to know! Lol! Thanks for watching! 😊
Hi Stacey, I’m new to your channel. And I think you’re my new favourite. I have the same facination with buying vintage bulk lots. I’ve gotten some gems myself. However you’re giving the secret away!! Great fun and great videos, keep it up!
Too funny, your background wood paneling reminds me of my childhood living room where I enjoyed many a hours of Lego building time. Wish I still had the chest my dad built to house all my Legos.
I saw this piece: 4597 Cockpit 6 x 6 x 1 1/3 Cabin Base. That part is in the mega core magnetizer (as well as several old space sets). That part along with the magnets look pretty promising for the magnetizer lol. Im excited to see what is all in there. 1:56
That would be such an amazing surprise if it was in there! Considering it took me about a year to part together my Mega Core Magnetizer lol! Whatever is in there I am sure it will be fun!
Nice video, I try to do similar analysis when trying to bid for bulk lots :-). It almost feels like analyzing the stock market or sports betting. Piecing info together, determining the odds of something good being there and think of a good price :-) Can't wait to see the reveal video :)
Thank you! Yes, definitely feels like betting/gambling to me too! They aren't all winners but it's still fun! Hopefully they ship it soon so I can do the reveal!
Your detective work on those bulk lots is very similar to when I find odd pieces just in my own house. "Why is there a 2x2 lime green tile on the floor?" (5 minutes of bricklink searching later) "Volcano exploration base! Kids were playing with that." It's not the same as finding a treasure in a bulk lot, but it's still satisfying to get it right.
All this reminded me of in my case it isnt the house but the street, sometimes I find a odd LEGO piece randomly on streets or on a local market ground so I look it up what set could it be in, and if it's something potentially good then I ask around who was selling it so maybe I can make a deal for the rest of the pieces etc, so far I managed to find the sellers but it was basically sold and the buyer was the one who lost a piece out of box or sack they were caring around same goes for Kinder toys if I am not familiar with when I find them on the ground I take them home then look it up the year etc A friend found LEGO and golden Harry Potter Kinder figurine in his street in a trash bin this summer, technically he was collecting plastic for someone and right next to that bin on top it was filled with clothing and all sorts of stuff and one open box had random toys inside, what cought his attention was some of LEGOs scattered around on the ground that is how he noticed it, almost passed it on I also found a golden Harry Potter on a parking lot of a market. Aparantly from what I seen online it's rare and some people pay a lot for it, idk how rare it could be and collectible when it's found in trash like that or on a ground XD bascially anyone could have seen it and picked it up but I was the only one picking it up, not many seem to care Anyway it's fun for me to go down rabbitholes and learn about these things.
With the first image having white and trans blue classic space pieces I think it might be the Galaxy Commander (set 6980 from 1983) because of those 2 trans blue inverted canopies (part 4228). That set does however come with a baseplate, so maybe that’s a long shot.
Call me crazy, this kind of treasure hunt hits the spot for me. Fingers crossed for a nice M-Tron set. I had the 6379 stable as a kid and it was one of my favorite sets. Unfortunately, my parents sold it at some point.

Yes! So much fun to try to decipher what could be in these lots! And it sounds like you had a great childhood if these were the type sets you had! 😁

That’s so nice to hear! Welcome to the channel! I’m happy to hear you’ve found the videos helpful and found some good bulk lots! Thanks for watching!
I acquired a bulk lot with some Rock Raider parts😊. And some vintage TYCO bricks….
Ooo! Love Rock Raiders! I’ve found some tyco on occasion too! lol
TIL about adding * for printed pieces. Great tip!

Yeah, the paneling has been around for a long time now!

Hahah! I do that too! 😂😂

same goes for Kinder toys if I am not familiar with when I find them on the ground I take them home then look it up the year etc

Maybe so! Maybe there are more baseplates that can’t be seen from this angle! I’ll just have to impatiently wait until it gets here lol!
@@ForBricksandGiggles wishing you luck!

I love a good treasure hunt too! That's too bad they sold it! Unfortunately that seems to happen a lot!
duplo cow in rust!!!! insta buy
Hahah yes, I’m excited to own one now! 😅
Even if I get dementia someday, I’ll remember part #4444
Hahaha true 😅😅
