Awesome video guys, AWESOME. Pity about the instructions and stickers though. I'm about to start building The Elven Tavern by Baka so it will be interesting to see about the stickers enclosed with it. I do like the look of this set though so thank you again for doing such a great job. ❤👻❤
Hi Stacey. Right I'm just onto part 2! Most of the stickers so far go onto the boat. You will be pleased to hear I have no problems with any of them, only used 4 so far but only 11 in the entire set so in theory all should be of the same quality I hope. Another plus the stickers themselves match with the brick colour so you can hardly notice unless you look real close that a sticker has been used. Glad I can help you or anyone else for that matter so please "keep clicking those bricks!" 👻
Appreciate the review. Mine is a backlog build I intend to moc but I'll keep an eye out for the issues you noted. It's definitely more of a display piece vs city modular as the footprint is too large as is for that purpose. Would be a good rooftop addition once modified to work with a standard 32x32 modular. I still think the technic in the base frame is overkill but unless you have personal inventory, will be built as is. Look forward to the next review.

This is the first set that I’ve seen that uses the gold chrome ring piece in other colors. I’ve had a bunch of them in other colors for use with minifigs and I’m kinda surprised that Lego has never made them in other colors
That's a pretty good set, but the official one looks packed with details, comes with 4 minis (2 of each character), a print for the window, more sitckers including stickers for all four houses, new molds (Thing, the gargoyles, flowers), drawers with levers, and clever part use for the columns. And since they did less of the roof there's more light shining in, so you see more of the bedroom. The Lego set might be smaller, with less pieces, but this time I gotta hand it out to Lego. At least until you look at the price per parts, that one Lego loses hands down. Pretty tempting to get both to get the best of both worlds, though.
Lego one looks like a kid's toy. Also it has miniDOLLS, not miniFIGS, and honestly minidolls are garbage almost nobody likes. I'd rather have no figures than minidolls. Also, are you really giving it pros for the Thing mold? :DD It's horrendous and Lego should be ashamed of it. Just look how World Minifigures did it, again, I'd rather buy Wednesday miniFIG and its great THING accessory separately from World Minifigures for around 1 EUR than have minidoll from Lego with this terrible Ting mold.
Mmmmm, I'm divided on this one. First of all, the design is, undoubtedly, very nice. Then the price and the general aspect, both very nice. Regarding stickers, I share your frustration. Same with the few missing pieces (even if it is no big deal for those with lots of available parts). The open back is OK, I just don't like the rug made of round tiles IN the floor, it looks off. Sitting next to other buildings, it is at the same time too short (missing floors) and too large. Odd. I'd be interested to see it being MOCced and placed apart from a city, surrounded with trees or big rocks. Anywhoo, I would gladly buy and build this set. I've been curious about Baka since Scottie (BMUS) presented on (last year, I guess). Thanks Barweer, thanks Stacey, thanks Adrian.
Agree, agree, agree. I was definitely excited to try Baka and the brick quality is pretty decent. I would defbuild another. We placed them with modulars for the size comparison but I agree, it really doesn't fit with a city. It would make a great and alone with some other scenery for sure. There is a flaw in your size comparison (well it’s still a good comparison… but…) … the entire Wednesday set is the top floor of a three flo or mansion … so a better comparison would be to place it on top of the town hall building
On a different note, I often hear people criticizing other alt-bricks brands' name (F.O, Pantasy) but I've never read a comment about Baka. Has anyone watched Naruto in Japanese? If not, just google 'Naruto baka' and you'll get the joke in no time. 😁

They are very cool in other colors. I remember pink ones in the Pantasy Food Truck 😁
