@@edserendipity16 i think it was actually for musical reasons. the chorus kicks in waay harder with him playing the additional guitar. the first performance kinda lacked this, since the bridge to the chorus includes a slightly muted drums in the studio version , but obviously a full blown drums live. the thrid guitar gives it a little more pressure
Honestly it's so stressful, I'm going to their show in a few days and it will be my first and the last Sum 41 show :( Mix of emotions, I'll be happy and sad af at the same time
Hey there, they don't play the full song but they do the outro of 88 at the end of Motivation which is pretty cool. I just did 2 shows in the UK have fun at yours it's totally worth it 🙂👍🏻
I'm gutted that I couldn't make this show. Was at Wembley and saw the first time they played it. But was too sick and fucked my voice completely. Got to Cardiff and outside the arena in the morning and made a tough call to head home. Just wouldn't have been enjoyable in the state I was/still am in. How was the show?
Ah that sucks so bad, and I've definitley had that with other shows in the past. But they were incredible. Went to Wembley and Cardiff and I think Cardiff probably pipped it for me. Unreal atmosphere, the band was so up for it and energetic and tight performing. And the crowd were just incredible. Will remember it for a long time I think!
@@alexwheatley853 also I had no hotel room booked so if I missed my last train I would've been fucked. I'm sorta regretting it now as lost the money and didn't get to see their last ever UK show. Maybe I should've just went and soldiered through. Looks like they didn't play anything much different to Wembley so that's a bonus I suppose. Was worried I'd miss another deep cut off AKNF or something
No idea on the make and model but Deryck went on to state later on in the show that it was one of his first guitars he owned and it was the one used in the videos for Fat Lip and In Too Deep. and after losing it for years he had only just manage to find it again.
I only hope that they keep it in the set for the rest of their final tour
Sad day 😢 but thanks for the memories. Will listen back and remember happy times. Shame SteveO never manage the farewell tour.
Deryck played guitar this time
@@richardmetalfan94 so he could probably focus on the lyrics in front of him lol

For certain songs, he plays guitar
Cool video. I watched them play Noots for their final encore in London. Truly incredible moment.
Yeah I managed to go to both London and Cardiff shows. I was in shock at Wembley when they started playing it!
Brownsound and Tom absolutely killing it on bg vocals
this sound quality is awesome considering it's a live concert video. cant wait for the show in my city, i hope they play it
Steve will be like : damn, why now?
OH MY WORD IT ACTUALLY HAPPENED!!!!
That was so awesome. Hope they play that Song in Hamburg. It's my absoluty favourite Song.
The Most underrated Song of them. The fans scream and have fun. I don't understand why they never play before.

Same here, the last chance to actually see them :(
It won't be the last. Give them a few years. They'll be back.
And now Twisted by Design finally
Did they?
@randygroenewoud5994 no, but they must
Damnnnnn noootsss
Everyone did a great job, love that dave did the screaming parts 😮

@@alexwheatley853 thank you 🥰 can’t wait! 88 is one of my fave songs!

I saw them at Leeds and Nottingham and other than Noots there weren’t as many deep cuts as those 2. Still great though.

That's a tough call 😢 . They were truly on form that night , what a performance. The Bronx sounded incredible too.
Does anyone know what guitar that Deryck was using? that looks similar to Brian May's because of the headstock shape.

@alexwheatley853 really? that guitar he's holding is one of his first guitars ever played?
@ Yeah I think so. If you watch the video I got of Walking Disaster at Cardiff as well he does a whole big speech about it at the beginning 🙂
@@alexwheatley853 I hope guitar premier would do a rig rundown on that one.
@rusli1659LPSoldier it's a Gibson Marauder! Sweet ass guitar!
was an awesome show last night!
Couldn't agree more 🙂
I have been to London show This is so grat!!!!❤
Dear Father on next, any chance? 🥲
