I think its back to the drawing board for that tool. Your sense of humour is dead on and a pleasure to watch.
Didn’t expect to see Lando in this video 😁. Interesting video as always.
Thanks Dave!
He just popped up out of nowhere, lol
Good video Dave.... 11:42 🤣
i heard nothing!!!
Great video. 👍 Please continue the great job. I support u. 😊Just that i could not understand your English. 😢
I admire your patience with that tool Dave. I think I’d have launched it……..😂

Interesting info Dave thanks!
cheers Jmes
Nice video dave, was going to order one at the start of the video, think I'll look for something a bit better
Honest review Dave, it looked like you needed 3 hands there at times. Nicely done though & a hard one to record. Thanks Dave 🙏👍👍
Cheers Peter
we have to do some of those springs right now. Rust isn't as much of an issue here though.
Never new this sort of tool existed. Handy I suppose if you got seized bolts on the shock etc.
EUGH, Spring jobs, Palms are sweaty just watching this. I hate doing coil springs. I could take the top of a car apart, but give me a suspension strut to re-do, Sweat more than Gary Glitter in a cambodian nursery!
Bit of a struggle there Dave, but well done 👍👏
I can not find this on your Amazon lists
With the weight of the car on the wheels, wrap STRONG steel wire around the spring coils.
Then when the car is jacked up and the weight of the car is off the wheels, usually the spring can simply be removed by hand. Reinstalling is easy as long as the spring remains held in compression by the wire.
Inserting a new spring? That's up to your imagination but it will probably need to be compressed just a little, maybe not at all if the shocks are disconnected.
or hit it with the torch and the spring collapses, lots of ways of getting it out
Good old scary spring jobs Dave, not good when the tool is climbing up the spring when your running it up to tension , it diddnt want to come out at the end at the bottom, I think it would have been beaten to death by many , I did an a4 saloon the other month , compressed it using the other tool we all have , couldn't get it in , had to loosen the subframe n get the old scaffolding bar out to get it back in , with a bit of grunting 😉 dont we love our jobs 👍👍
Fun Fun Fun, u love it Mike
@@davesterl I know now why you use mr porta power , extra safe hands , bars slip , fingers squished 🤣🤣🤣👍👍👍👍
Would it be any good for rear ford focus springs?
Works great on mk2 focus’s
lookes deadly
Would she be a good job for the bastard rear a4 springs?
Tool might have been a bit of a disappointment, but sounds like the Lion was a smash 👍🍻
aye, the lion king is fav atm
I would suggest that the language in the garage was not suitable for children struggling with that "room for improvement" tool.
Yes Vincent, children will learn new words near someone using this tool
