Another way to scale an airport is that you can use google map to know the size of the terminal and runway width using a reference from a real 1:400 model and put the picture of the plane the same size as the 1:400 plane

Reason why Buffalo airport is so small(other than size). Is because for most international flights and some US flights most people drive the 90min to YYZ. Because there are more airlines and more destinations served

You can get them any online aviation store and in some model stores/airport stores. The airplanes sizes are 1:400 of the real thing, or 1 in 400th
