Finally Suspiria getting some recognition!! I'm pissed that no one is talking about how it got snubbed from the Oscars
A huge snub without a doubt. This movie is a masterpiece.
I’m still pissed that this movie was snubbed in so many awards... deserved a few Oscar nominations as well.

Suspiria was my favorite movie of 2018, so underrated. Congrats ladies and Luca!
Casting, directing, cinematography, production design and thom's soundtrack. This is a jewel, and I'm so grateful for all these crew that made it possible.
Also the costume design and makeup.
This was everything. Awesome director. Awesome cast. Awesome movie. Masterpiece. Why this wasn't at the Oscars is beyond me.
I thought this film was boring at first (except for the ending). On second watch, it's honestly brilliant. The directing, the deliberately slow pacing, the performances, and the use of "magic" and spells. If you didn't like this movie at first, give it a second watch.
This movie was an instant classic. It will inevitably receive the praise and credit it deserves. I am sure of it. Best Horror movie of 2018, and probably, of this decade...we’ll see about that.
After this year, the Oscars have no credit.

I remember the first time that I watched it on the movie theater, it was my first time driving and it was raining. I got there and watched it with a dear friend of mine. Between Volk and the Ending I felt like my soul was rising, I was hypnotized by the visuals and beautiful music. I don't know why but I cried my way back home, the music of this film stuck in my head for hours, days and weeks. I am She.
So much Girl Power on that stage!
The cast really did a wonderful job!

It's not the best horror film when it comes to scare, but it's much more intriguing as a story of its own.
Armie Hammer presenting this was the best thing. And Suspiria 2018 will forever hold a special place in my heart ❤️❤️

I just happened upon this clip... Knew nothing about it, or even of SUSPIRIA's win at this awards ceremony.... The remake was problematic, but an interesting film nonetheless (the Argento original is a tie for first place as my all-time favorite motion picture, I saw it theatrically upon the initial 1977 U.S. release, in Pasadena, CA when I was just 10 years old... It had a profound impact upon me and my film aesthetic throughout my lifetime.) I mentioned that its a tie as my favorite film, shared with another equally compelling and powerfully unusual film that was also released by 20th Century-Fox in 1977, Robert Altman's dream-logic classic 3 WOMEN.... So when I noticed that the new SUSPIRIA remake had won the ROBERT ALTMAN award, well, you can see how it basically completed a personal circle for me by fusing together (if only symbolically) my shared cinematic obsessions and over both of my favorite pictures. I cannot believe that woman was spoke for all involved (she apparently was the `casting director' for the film?) went on and on for so long like that, while Swinton, Johnson, Soutendijk and FUCKING Jessica Harper (the original film's Suzy Banyon herself!?!) just stood there behind her, not invited to say anything at all! WTFF? I'm sorry, I don't wish to appear too jaded or too bitchy or like I am above any of this, but what exactly was all of that about, anyhow? I mean, the lavished appreciation of and for the memory of Altman was unduly kind as well as deserved, but any of those actresses present could easily have read the director's thank you note in half the time and, incidentally, minus any kind of language barrier botching it up as presented to the audience. Did I simply read too much into all of this, or does anyone else agree of this award-acceptance strangeness of which I speak of, which, to me, came off as being much more along the same lines to the odd histrionics and behaviors of the cast in Argento's original version than anything or anyone's portrayals in the remake... ``Oh good! She's a marvelous woman... a friend and benefactress of artists everywhere! I'm delighted to have her niece here!''
