You get khus root in summer which you can put in your earthen drinking water pots or your drinking water in summers to give a cooling effect. if you go to your local attar shop you will easily find it. As it ages it gets thick & gets more sweeter as compared to fresh. It has good transitions & gives a very good feel when you are travelling outside in hot summers not in ac - it starts with smokiness & then settles down - in hot summer whip of Ruh Khus is a heavenly feeling

Hasan bhai Hazrat attar ka review karein please. Aur Hasan Oud ke itne saare attars hain, jinke baare me kabhi theek se detail me kisi ne baat hi nahi ki. Jaise oud mukhallat ho gaya. ya phir saare hi ek tarha se jo hyped nahi huye amber oud aur gollden oud ki tarha, unke baare me bhi ek ek videos banaye .
All khus that I have smelled (including your brand as well as Ajmal) have a non-sweet tinge. The only exception I have seen was at a local perfume store at home in Kashmir - he had a big bottle in which there was very little khus. It looked very old and was right at the back. I took 6ml from it - last lot. Best khus I have ever smelled - thick as hell and very sweet, unlike normal khus. Maybe it was because it was old.
Tip : Khus layers well with sandal in summers.

I don’t think we have a good market for perfumery in Kashmir kozgars and attars are long gone and most of the remaining attars in the vicinity of bazari masjid today have no idea about what they are selling… I would really appreciate it if you could share the name of shop that you referred to would like to test.
