yo could you pleaseeeeee make a tutorial series on how to use this? like how to do live looping with it, how to use effects with it, etc. :) just bc there are literally NO good tutorials on UA-cam for how to use this incredible device, and all of youtube would thank you for being the first good teacher lol. this video was straight to the point and clearly zoomed in on the screen and the buttons involved and that was AWESOME. if you did that when explaining how to live loop with this, how to use effects, etc, you'd change the game for drummers trying to learn how to use this device :)

you could sample sounds yourself, it's an old school approach but doable, either in your own software, or record right on to the spdsx. Find a video of someone playing an 808 drum machine, and record that audio straight to the SPDSX. Thumb drive: files need to be on the root of the drive, they cannot be in a folder in the drive. example E:/808clap example that won't work E:/claps/808 clap
@@SeanLaMontagne Address spending hours literally troubleshooting and trying to figure out what in the world was wrong, I got the thumb drive to work and I did find a couple of sites Where I was able to and download wav files. I guess I am not technically savvy enough with the electronics so it's going to take me a lot more time period I played with it live on Sunday and was able to get help separating out be click from the live pad which was completely awesome! But thankfully I work with guys who are super knowledgeable in these things. Me sample my own sounds? Not going to happen. Plus I don't have the equipment to sample my own sounds. I have a drum kit and that's about it :) I appreciate the feedback and the support. DrumON

Hello, I just wanted to ask if a drum preset can be added on to one pad. So say the hanger preset from that sound, can it be translated to my triggers but just using one pad?
A few ways if doing this. I create my own click, and backing track in my DAW. export your click and backing track as 2 sperate files (wave 44.1 16bit) stereo or mono (depending on your mix). And import them both into spdsx via the software or usb stick. Have your track on one pad and click on another. LINK the two pads so they both start at the same time. And make sure to send your click to headphones only. That's the fastest way I could explain that

Yes you need to set loop on in the pad menu
