Being a millenial is rough. You're old and experienced enough still to immediately recognize these are terrible ideas, but young enough still to laugh at "GIRTH."
6:35 I mean, i take it you have a managerial position in these conventions. Its probably busy. If you have this duty, you cant be expected to work through everyone's ideas together, but as you said , you can tell them what to overcome, and encourage them to find a solution for either this convention or the following ones. Just make sure they understand its not to tell them they are dumb, but instead a way to allow them to avoid the mistakes you had and tell them they should take the hindsight as advantage and not discouragement.
Nice! Of all the Internet Historian videos that I'd want to see you watch, this was probably the top one. Mainly for the first section. Nice to hear sensible people know how to run a convention. I wonder if Chelzor had issues that were obvious in retrospect that plagued her early conventions...

Used to live in the states for 2 years, the first day I was over there we went to grab some drive-through food on the way back from the airport. Might've been Arby's, idk. Some dude in front of us was getting food with a dead camel on his trailer. Our driver just looked at us and went: "Welcome to Tennessee, folks". After that nothing we experienced at Waffle House after 1am shocked me anymore.
For the twitch chatter around the 22:20 mark: Yes! I lived in Okinawa for a good chunk of 2018-19. Japanese McDonald's is SO much better! I recommend any American that goes to Japan at least visit once. It's like a pilgrimage to what our McDonald's SHOULD be! The cherry on top was the McDonald's in the area I was staying even had a full barista setup for McCafe. The coffee was actually good. They even did some simple late-foam art!
This was when "internet historian" was also a description of the channel content. Don't worry, Chelzor, I know you wouldn't let your team won't possibly screw up as bad as the Agile conference.
Wasn't this a convention for supposedly tech savvy people? These people must live in a bubble if they didn't think someone was going to start things. McDonalds as for sure gone down the crapper since I was a kid in the 80s. Going for food at 3am sounds like my schedule. Chelz's evil laugh is adorable.

I miss the days when you could fully customise your own burger at maccas- I combine the mchicken and fillet-o-fish but now they don’t seem to allow combos of different meat I assume pricing and maybe food contamination or some thing
I like to order a Double Quarter pounder and a Crispy Chicken But the Chicken I order WITHOUT a bun Then I just put the chicken on the other sandwich myself
Oh man an oldie but a goodie. I’m wondering if this may have been an inside job. Like someone was able to set up these displays and feed but not change the set up to how you described it. Curious.
