- In this video I will show you how to include custom images to the Custom Button Card as well as creating a templated markdown card a define a message relevant to the state of a device.
This also includes a simple automation to control the output of both items on the dashboard.

Great guide :), i have problem with the background image, it wont change. Any idea why it wont change it to the image i chosse ?
Maybe I’m doing something wrong but didn’t work for me just shows idle even though it’s on. Hmm need to play around more I guess
I never really understood the markdown and it seemed to be bland in its concept and function, however since these videos have been created by yourself I have a greater understanding and spent alot of time redesigning my main dashboard. Is it possible to create text shadow?, I now have an awsome weather card with a great background, however some the text is a little bit difficult to read, despite changing the colour, this would be better with a a shadow behind the text. Thank you.

False positives occur when Home Assistant is restarted. I actually get notifications even though the machine is not running. Do you have any suggestions to avoid this?

Both of these I got from a quick Google images search. So no I don't have a particular site to answer the question, any image can be used here.
