I find it weird that people keep talking about how it's not as good as the one in 14. It fits well for that dissidia is, chaotic faster paced and just a overall rush. I like both equally but this is perfect for what it belongs in.
it's not terrible, maybe not my taste, but i feel the original held much more of a bombastic, suitably "triumphant" sound to it, this one feels more mellow while the original is more akin to a climatic battle
It also completely destroys the flow of the melody by repeating chunks of it. The original was a flowing composition, this just feels stretched and repetitive.
They really need to another FFXIV character to Dissidia NT, even if it's a villain, and if it is a villain, I'd say Zenos is the most likely candidate.
@@thatoneeco those were only Yoshi-pi'a answer when he was asked about who he would like to appear in Dissidia I can see our villian being Gaius, since the XIV stage in this game is associated most with him + and he appears to be having a major role in the next expansion, also he have the benefit of having an obvious 2nd custom :3 I wouldn't mind either Gaius, Zenos or Alphinuad tho
Zenos may well be the most likely IMO. He's the most popular XIV villain these days, he'd be another much-needed big-body melee character(there aren't many..Garland and...kinda Exdeath whose big but more of a specialist style, Golby is a caster). And while songs and stages don't matter for the person, having the Stormblood song in would at least be fitting(especially since it's used again in The Worm's Tail, Shinryu P2 theme, and well given Shinryu is sort of the big boss in both Stormblood and Dissidia, it'd be a great tie in.) Plus Zenos is made for this world, it's a world basically built on strong fighters. He'd never want to leave. He has a few customs, too(Helmet, no helmet, white gown.) Full moveset even already that would I think drop nicely into Dissidia(I can just see his tank buster as a big cleaving BRV triple-hit and him getting that shield break he used on Y'shtola.)

original is the best.
I'm just going to grab the original...
Why this music represents FFXIV? It would be reasonable if Hien or Lyse be playable characters, if they have Y'shtola, some ARR OST would fit better
They've already included "Torn From the Heavens" and "Ultima". so there's that.
they could've included "A Fine Death" (The Mini-boss theme) since it played when she first joined you as an AI controlled party member during the Limsa Lominsa Quests.
@@dannybu898 not everyone started in Limsa.
Hate how almost every remix of the original songs are just metal covers. Oh well.
Stormblood BLAH, Stormblood BLAH, Bu do be Do be do bu, Stormy Stormy Stormy Blah, Stormy Stormy Stormy Blah, Stormy Stormy Stormy Blah!
Not enough horns. The horns make this song epic. That’s why this version feels empty
Sorry, but it's just not it without the the chorus being clearly chanted
