How to replace the condenser for the 2010 gmc terrain. Also bumper removal tips. UPDATE: I forgot the top two screws on the outer edge of the bumper are hex keys.
I believe the difference in the mounting tabs or stand offs you mentioned represents an updated design by GM. it seems most of these fail because the plastic air baffles that mount to those tabs wear a hole in the condenser tubes. The raised mounting tabs would prevent that from happening again. I replaced one with a TYC brand condenser that was just like the original. I fixed the issue by removing the offending lip of both the upper and lower baffles with a flap wheel on an angle grinder. A sharp utility knife would have worked as well.
I have a quote for replacement of compressor and condenser on my 2015 GMC terrain of 3000.00 Cdn.
Going to be a long hot summer.

About to change mine next week, thanks for the info sir!
You just saved me 600$ thanks bro 👍🏼
i filled mine with r134a with sealant and it leaked out all over from the condenser so thats how i knew where it leaked.
Pretty sure mine has the exact same leak location. Just had it filled and it is now spitting green dye from that corner.. thanks for the vid
It's that peace of plastic rubbing on the bottom of the rad hooks into little tabs cut it off on the fold seam
Did you had to put any PÁG oil in the condenser ?
What is the bottom line that connects to the condenser is called?
