Skill wise, idk its pretty close between him and JB but as far as content goes nothing beats rack attack and Lunkers.

Just from the size I would've said that trout was a steelhead. But after he pulled it out of the water and seeing it's colors and shape it was definitely a rainbow. Amazing catch bro and on a flie rod even. I've been fishing for trout since I was 7-8 and I'm 34 now and have never caught one that big

Come up to Canada we have giant rainbow trout. I catch 15 pounders in my back yard. And brown trout.

I caught a 7.5 pound rainbow beginning of this year
I feel like there arent any bad fly setups tbh. I had a couple cheep setups before and they were actually better than some of the more expensive spinning reel setups ive had. The quality of fly gear is like at a higher standard than other fishing gear I feel like. Everything made for fly fishing always seems like its a higher quality.
I have a fly rod an over 5 years I’ve used it 3 times an I caught 2 fish
Ive caught plenty of rainbows up to 26
Catfish for smoked jerky, Walleye and Crappie for deep frying, and Trout for fish and egga early in the mourning.
How can you just let them go?

Love the fly fishing content, but that fish was nowhere near 8lb... Probably closer to 2-3lbs. If you were familiar with steelhead fishing you'd be more familiar with sizes. an 8lb fish is probably 28" minimum unless obese.
Come to colorado though, I can put you on bigger trout!

@@tatertots-n-soupIf you look at the trough they are heavy stockers and the big trout is a brute stock recently put in. You can tell that because the top of their fin is rubbed off and they are chasing after one another.
