- The I-Team has a warning after a local couple's life savings vanished. They lost more than $300,000 during the purchase of their dream home in a scam that could happen to anyone.
Please express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to this masterpiece. My gosh, Universal-Dispute!! You people are ruling the cyber world. We appreciate your efforts and would like to take this opportunity to thank this person for all he has done for us.
Those who never fail to make us laugh deserve nothing but the best:
I value the information you dropped on us. As somebody inquisitive about recuperation, I like that you show devices you use to examine an organization prior to coming to a choice. It's now a hard choice to make and game to play, and with somebody showing the world procedures to safeguard themselves, this information is important.
Gratitude for getting some margin to impart this to the UA-cam world. We love you

Never, never, never ever wire money especially this large in doing a real estate transaction. Make the transaction in person.
Always handle money with
Tender Loving Care
Right!!! 300K 😦😦😦
Sounds like an inside job👀
Yep inside job
I feel bad for them, but you gotta always call the escrow directly and check all the wire instructions. Or check in person. There's no such thing as too careful when it comes to dealing with your money.
How can there be only a 72 hrs window to contact the FBI in case of such a fraud ? That time period is too very small .
Agree!
I cennot fall for that, because I don't have money,,
Even if I did wouldn't send it , stupid people ,
😂😂
INSIDE JOB.
Never never do banking online or internet or go to the bank and let the banker wire the money
Scammers hide behind a phone, mail or computer..God will reveal these people one day. They will pay.
Were waiting
All closing papers should be signed and handed over in person
Theses people were set up from the start because they all knew they were going to pay cash they should have used a cashiers check case closed
Or take out a mortgage and see if all goes well go to the mortgage office and pay in full that way all money transactions are registered and no online scamming---
Can they get a tax deduction

So sad
Here’s a tip: Drive to a REAL bank, and talk to a human banker…Skip that online garbage! 👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿
I like how they always say: "It can happen to anyone" NO! This only happens to stupid, gullible people. This can be easily avoided!...And my bank or any good chartered bank will only do that kind of business face to face.
NO! An example of that could happen to anyone is that my son's local bank branch closed down unbeknownst to him, having been bought out by another company headquartered about three states away. Didn't find this out until shortly before closing. Had to trust that the money would be there, which it was, by the grace of God through the prayers of his loved ones. Yeah, he definitely dodged a bullet--and my son is a very savvy guy who indeed does his due diligence. These scumbag scammers are crafty and any one of us can be fooled. I heard something today--the right con, at the right time in someone's life--can scam even the most savvy of persons. So never think you're above it. Just remember: "therefore but the grace of God go I"...
EXACTLY. I would never wire such a large sum on the strength of an email.

Why was their attorney’s web site not more secure?
Because the lawyer was part of the scam---never let a lawyer know your paying cash---take out a private mortgage and then pay in full at later date----
This would never happen in Canada. The USA should revisit their procedure.
We would never act on an email. The instructions from the lawyer should be done in person or phone.
EXACTLY. I would never wire such a large sum on the strength of an email.
Cashier check is the way to go.
Old fashioned - there is a lot to be said in favor of it!
Only go through a reputable business who is like the middle man in the deal
USD 307.000,- loss? Mind-blowing!
And that’s not all folks

I have seen a lot of things online I would like to purchase but the only way to buy it is giving out the banking information and so I refuse to buy it online and look for it locally and find it that way
