Thanks to you all enjoying yourselves, I’m improving on the quality a bit! The sound is first up! Subscribing is a big help and I hope to hear all your thoughts!
You haven't seen funny until you've seen a Spacedock 2 PDS 2 on Mecatol Rex, the Cabal player then popped her hero and utterly decimated two of the three players that were coming to knock her off MR And she still lost! But my God some of the most hilarious stuff I ever did see
Ideas for fighting Vuil'Raith: Make fighter-based fleets to avoid losing too many ships to their capturing. Try to destroy or otherwise cripple their production by taking their space docks.
I mean ideally yes, but this can come at the cost of spend/tech/other cost based objectives. In a game I played (as yin) I had VR as my neighbor. I parked my flagship on the equidistant and we had a ceasefire swap. I mostly kept a few fighters and destroyers as gum along the boarder that lead from map end to Mecatol. I was playing carrier 2/spinner elsewhere.
Great video, really like the analysis on things like tech and ability synergy. Only managed to play as these guys once so far and didn't fully realise what they could do until half way through the game. Even so, they felt very powerful. And versatile. I think these guys are going to become just as hated, if not more so, than the Nekro used to be.
Hey! I agree with you, but I have found at my group that they aren’t as annoying because of their honesty. The way Nekro plays is a bit more conniving and manipulative, where as you pretty much know what you’re in for with the Cabal. Either way, they are a menace. Hopefully you get to play with them again soon!
The Nekro are still going to be pretty hated, especially now with that flagship / mech / Valefar Assimilator combo. You basically get to have 9 dreadnoughts on the board and 4 of them cost next to nothing.
In my opinion the two techs that really suits them are Sarween Tools and AIDA. They will be able to put sooo much plastic on the board that´s just disgusting. I think i will play them next game! :D Going red seems a good idea, especially with Assault Cannon in mind.
@@CardboardCrashCourse I was too nice to my neighbors for playing as that race! I should have been more bloodthirsty when playing as a faction from a demonic alternate dimension. I scored near the top, but certainly didn't win. Still fun to play though. 😁
In edge case scenario when Nekro steals your Space dock tech these space also are qualified as dimensional tear for your hero so you have at least one more tear on board ;-) But i have to see it yet in the game :D Also DT II, vortex and bio stims with no skips require 6 tech total and that does not count unit upgrade in 10point game it is hard to pull off.
Really good video! I played this race past weekend and it was really impressive. Pity I didn't understand that Cabals should play with lot of fighters. But I defeated Necrovirus and almos defeated much more expirienced Letnev, and even took 3 of his ships with my Hero)
I believe that you going to research around 6 tech per game. 2 yellow into space dock 2, dead2 or carier2+fithers2 with there fuction abillity. is like 4/5 tech. and with the capter abillity, i want to go full yellow into "Integrated Economy" even with a skip, it 3 yellow and 3 unit tech. mybe with integrated economy you dont need this space dock 2, but still. you going to use your abillity to skip pre for unit upgraet for sure
quick question about the agent, you mentioned carriers and cruisers as targets for lower commodity factions, but wouldnt the mechs also be a prime target since your opponent only has four so capturing one would be quite a loss, especially to factions that really need them like naaz-rokha or maybe someone like arborec?
You really don't need dimensional tear II. Unless you have a yellow skip, it synergizes poorly with your abilities. A 5 space dock is pretty good already. And you want to drop down every space dock for the movement bonus "Vuil Raith Catapult"...
I had a 30-minute argument with all five people I was playing with about the amalgamation skill. I showed them this video and countless other posts of people playing it this way, and they called me an idiot. Is there a place where I could find the FFG rule on amalgamation that is less vague?
“If the Vuil’raith player produces multiple units, their Amalgamation ability may be applied to each.” These are official rulings. It’s the first one: www.tirules.com/F_vuilraith
If it only allowed you to do one each time you produced, it would be severely underpowered. The faction is already weak, they need Amalgamation how it works now to keep up.
Keep in mind when sending this to your friends, if they give you any crap. This is not an “official” website, but it IS a collection of all the OFFICIAL rulings. Just in case they doubt you, because they seem a little harsh.
I wouldn't mind seeing a game where everyone just plays main villain factions. A game only played by L1,nekro, cabal and gene sorcerers. How aggressive of a game that would be

Oddly enough, I'd say that flavor-wise, diplomacy on these guys is just an act of intimidation.
this is legit the best cabal ti4 guide ive seen thus far, specifically with tech and strat.
Thank you so much!

what is the point of having sarveen if I anyway put my plastic on the board for free; would rather have one more unit upgrade
Great rundown of the faction! I should have watched this before playing as the cabal yesterday.
How did that game go?

Wonderful. Thank you for all of these. I am binging all of your videos.

Whats the music title playing in the background?
I don't know which ones you're planning on doing in the future, but I would love to see a Nekro Virus one soon!
My plan is to do L1Z1X Mindnet and Argent Flight in the next handful but Nekro will definitely be slotted in there now! :)

Yes, they would absolutely be prime targets. You can really cripple their boots-on-the-ground presence with that

How about throw in a 5th and make it Argent Flight! They’re more aggressive than you’d think!
Playing that today except Muaat instead of Nekro
@@kaelanrankin4221 how was it lol. Usually the big buggi man on their own in most games.
Is it me ? Or do the new factions seems a bit OP, what do you think.
I’m Hacan and another player is Val’Raith, what do I do?
In which situation?
excellent!
