    Something about getting such a high level trusted ID through automation doesn't sit right with me. Call me old fashioned but I still believe in face to face authentication of a person with HR. Anyone could mock up an ID and become me via this type of automation and how would I prove otherwise? I'd have to learn a lot more about the process and the safeguards in place.
    Thanks for the information Andy! I don't mean to shoot the messenger. 🤓 I learn more about MS365 from you than from all the other sources at my disposal, combined.

      You're talking about the ID proofing piece. Every issuer of VCs will have their own burden of ID proofing. I'd bet government VCs will follow the same process as obtaining passports & DLs and won't necessarily just be a form you submit with 'all your PII' as Andy mentioned, but your Mcdonald's loyalty card could.

    Hey Andy, good information. So, for this to work you first need to be registered in some sort of trusted digital identity repository apart from your organization or Microsoft?

    • @AndyMaloneMVP
      @AndyMaloneMVP  Рік тому +1

      Correct and you need an app that supports it.

      It’s a means of identity verification. I.e. proving one’s identity, similar to a passport. The idea is when you show your ID it’s 100% you

    Having the worst time with Microsoft consolidating accounts. For Microsoft I have a personal account and both companies I work/consult for have their own accounts. Takes forever to login now. I get errors all the time and usually it is a different error each time making tracking down issues difficult.

    Can I also store my not vaccination status with this.

    • @AndyMaloneMVP
      @AndyMaloneMVP  Рік тому +2

      The example that I was using is merely a mock up, showing the possibilities of what can be done, so yes, there is no reason why your vaccination status couldn’t be shared.

      @@AndyMaloneMVP Microsoft demanding more and more personal information in order to use their products. It is completely unnecessary to provide them with every personal aspect of our identification, bank information, etc. We have used Windows since 95 through to Windows 10 and never had to provide so much private or personal info. Sure there is the danger of someone stealing your info for ill purposes, but that has always been the case and we just dealt with it if and when it happened, which for most of us it never did. I don't know a single person that has ever asked for all this intrusion of our personal lives from Microsoft, Windows, what have you. It's just being forced down our throats and we have no say whatsoever, and it's our information! There is enough spying on us through our smart phones, social media accounts, email and so on. It's out of control. They do not need to know every aspect of our lives.
