- For this 72hrs session I've travelled down to Dorset and the coking farm complex. I booked oak lake as its been a while since ive fished this lake. However what i thought might be a fairly easy session as never struggled on this lake before turned out to be a a really tricky session.
Great vlog as always Chris - just one of them sessions when you try everything and nothing works. Onto the next one - tight lines buddy 🎣
😂 love it mate will have to try that 1!👍🏻 great vlog mate. Can’t always catch 40lbers 😆👏🏻
Unlucky on this session chris top watch as always onto the next adventure tightlines look forward to the next vid 🎣 🤞🤞🤞🤞
Hi Chris a really hard session buddy but no one can say you didn't try everything you could and even the kingfisher couldn't help. It was nice to see Steve turn up out of the blue and I will kook forward to seeing how he got on. I wish you well on your trip to the festival so until then take care and stay safe my friend.
Great vlog chris. Shame no fish but that's carping for you.look forward to the next one👍
Great Vlog mate and a top effort, i think your right about it being a duff swim lol or you put a curse on it with the kingfisher theory or showing me how to fish it.🤣🤣best of luck to you both at the Festival fishery. take care buddy.👍
Another great video Chris, was great to set up next to you again. My upload has been delayed, but will be up soon. 👍
Likewise mate! Will look forward to your blog, then I'll add the link to it where I said I would
Hi Chris great blog I really like oak lake one of my favourite lakes it can be tough though as you no but we all blank sometimes, I was in peg 24 a couple weeks back, had 10 fish to 43lb plus 3 x 30lbers, I was the only one catching on the lake apart from the odd fish here and there but only one who had multiple fish, caught them all open water and all on brown match the hatch wafters. Never got on well with pop ups on there for some reason, when I was there the water was down ALOT even tho we had a lot of rain up to then the islands was only 2ft roughly the lad told me that was next to me, looking forward to the festival blog bud hope you have a couple out 👍
Great blog Chris.
We can only catch what’s in front of us.Good luck on Festival.
Cheers, that is true!
Hello Chris ,I have just got back from coking farm also fished peg 26 got back today from a 48hr also no fish but bad rain and wind this side of the oak lake can be difficult best of luck up,at festivals on your next session
Hi Chris really enjoy your fishing adventures. I see you have a boatman bait boat, can you tell me how you rate them as I was thinking about getting one myself. Keep up that great work. Tightlines
Hi Chris do you rate the boatman bait boat
Hi Chris.
Sorry you had no fish to show use, but as we all know "Thats Fishing"
I thought I would ask you what bivvy do you use for long sessions, you gave me some great advise on the Sonik AXS bivvy & over wrap, thank you.
For a 2 man I am looking at the Avid carp HQ dual layer 2 man.
I have watched MAFF T UK when he put his up for the first time & I am hopping you have the same to be able to tell me what you think.
Many thanks.
Cheers buddy. Yeah it's also the avid hq duel layer but mines the 1 man where maff has the 2 man.
Enjoyed the upload Chris, not often i see you blank 👌👌👍

I know!! Already been pointed out to me!! Completely forgot at the time!! My bad!
@@MrCarpking71 we are all human, mistakes happen... tight lines for your next session 🙏🤞🎣🙏
@@hughrathbone2774 indeed mate!! Genuine mistake, if I'd of meant to to it I wouldn't of shown it in blog! Lol
@@MrCarpking71 I didn't think it was anything else! I follow your Vlogs with great interest and know how carefully you follow and explain fishery rules, keep up your excellent work!
Hard luck this time Chris,as the weather gets colder the bites will start to become more difficult to get and it looked like the fish were held up in that one area in the deeper water.Another cracking blog and top marks for effort and determination on a venue where moving swims is not allowed.
Look forward to the next one tight lines and wet nets 👍
was like watching a 3 day video of myself Chris mate spent 72 hours at 4 ponds last weekend not a bleep :( .. low pressure killed it all off all the best for next time #eldeneno1
What hook are you using them gemini d rig booms with please.
The korda choddy size 4
@@MrCarpking71 cheers for that, they seem to sit the best with a chod hook.I tried with a curve shank but it closed the gape of the hook too much,I was considering esp trig hammers too 👍
unlucky mate great vlog
Can’t catch them on the sofa! Better to be out trying! 👍🏻
Indeed mate! 👍🏼👍🏼
You should have cast a deeper out
How?? Didn't you see the narrow bit of water I had to fish in??
