Almost had a fatal accident last night, a terrible one but God stopped it. I found myself singing "Ngariyerere ndipone" 😭 in the midst of it mota dzikangomira. We serve a living God, the past week i had been playing this song daily.
In 2022, my family & l attended a church service here in the UK (Middlesbrough) where they had been invited as guests. They led worship service after church service. My goodness the anointing, humility & genuineness. They don't sing to be seen or acknowledged, but rather in servitude to God. Heaven kissed earth for sure.
Iv never experienced such a powerful atmosphere of worship. They instantly became one of my favourite ministers. I felt a connection & the presence of the Holy Spirit.
May God continue to use them as vessels for His glory and the extension of His Kingdom.

This song takes me back decades - to Rusitu, in the mountains of Chimanimani. When we visited my grandparents over the Christmas holiday, the moment we got the bags in the house my grandmother would sing Ishe Taungana, and the entire family prayed. The night before we left for Masvingo, on some early day in January, she would sing Nditungamire Jehovah, while we sat outside seeing the little lights in the huts miles down the valley in Mozambique. It was so quiet that our voices definitely carried. We would then pray, and know that Jehovah will direct our steps in the new year. Years after my grandmother passed, her brother (a pastor) shared with me 2 Timothy 1:3-5 - my first lesson about generational faith. This song has ministered to me in a unique way! We are now all grown and scattered across the globe, but this song is a homing device.
