Thanks for the tips on meteor storm! Showing how to aim for the yellow wormhole was an absolute game changer. I just completely shattered my old high score of 45million and got to 69 million, almost entirely on the first ball. I wasn't even mad when I lost.
One thing I liked about 1.0 was that when a mission was completed, you'd get an appropriate message from the game depending on the mission (e.g. "Launch Training Passed" or "Xenomorphs Destroyed"). For some reason, they removed that 1.1 and replaced it with "Jackpot!" Anyone else think that was weird?
Nice vid!, Sorry it's too long and I haven't finished watching the entire vid while leaving this question: I just have some days of the FullTilt version of playing and think there's a bug: in the manual and other document I can find they're all saying that the left/right flipper will control the lane lights moving as one direction or another. However, in my version of this game, and also your gameplay, these lights are always moving from right to left, regardless which flipper is flipped. But while I try the game of Windows version, I can move these lights in two directions.
So, I guess the best reward you can get is the same-wormhole replay bonus, right? Since a replay is objectively better than an extra ball, and the wormhole bonus is a lot easier to get than a Level 3 Commendation OR a 4th Hyperspace.
Not necessarily -- there are tradeoffs depending on which version of the game you're running. 3D Pinball's most efficient reward is probably from the wormhole, yes, but you can stack multiple extra balls from both the sources you mentioned. Full Tilt awards replays on a per-mission-completion basis, and the Wormhole replay is unavailable unless multiball is active. Extra balls also don't stack in this version.
@@pinballwiz45b I was just playing the 1.0 full tilt pinball version and got multiball activate. Multiball is also mentioned in the 1.0 full tilt pinball help file. The 1.1 patch only mentioned a fix for TILT
some thing... i play it but something happen. the x in the left of the game table has flash and i can launch the ball but cant use flipper. can you help me?
They're still there. My guess is they wanted to put in multiball and had to find another way to implement Replays, since you can't get them from the wormholes until multiball activates. Guarantees safety as well from prematurely ending runs to Fleet Admiral.
Commendation? They do downgrade once every 60 seconds from the last time the target bank is cleared. Rank? At mid-high ranks, you could do a 'Time Warp Mission', where you could get a full rank up...or rank down, depending on which shots you hit.

Huh, it's still visible for me. Rest assured, the vast majority are likes right now. Screw big tech, I actually prefer having dislikes visible. I'm going to need an official "dislike counter" on my comments if this goes through on my end.
Can you please explain how I can get the bottom flippers to work on my Space Cadet pinball? I have tried to use the ‘Z’ and ‘/’ to control the flippers and the flippers do "Not" work. Everything else, seems to work perfectly, except for the "Bottom Flippers". Thank you.
@@pinballwiz45b Thank you very kindly for replying. I have Windows10 and I'm not sure what you mean, when you suggest trying to remapping flippers. Dude, I’m sorry, but you are not really a good teacher. I’m already somewhat familiar with the mechanics of the game, and I wasn’t able to follow your explanations. You need to start from the basics, you are all over the place. Also, the point of a tutorial is to explain the game, and you are fixated in one mission
It's tough as it was, since this was my first tutorial video. Given also, this was during a live broadcast. Pinball is already chaotic, and I figured playing the game and using the mouse cursor/flashing blue arrows as a guide might help with the explanations. I'll do my best to improve going forward. It's tough explaining the rules and playing at the same time, not to mention having dead air by just focusing on that one mission. EDIT: The basics, how? Like, catching the ball, or rules that aren't reliant on missions?
@@saar144 Alright, agree to disagree. 1) what each light/flag/button does: That does not make for an interesting video to watch. I'd be covering the entire playfield for the first 10 minutes without doing anything. I likely won't cover things that score as little as a few hundred or a few thousand points. 2) How to initiate missions: Really? Within the first 2:00 and this is an example? That's the whole point of this tutorial, and I demonstrated this multiple times throughout. Even the display on the right and the blue flashing arrow tells you exactly what you need to hit. Something even as basic as a flashing arrow and text on a display is pinball 101. 3) Extra balls are covered in this, albeit vaguely, I'll admit. To be fair, the few methods to obtain one are unusual compared to many other pinball games. 9:56 4) Nudging causes a tilt if you do it too much, otherwise it influences the ball slightly. It's an entirely different topic outright -- unless you're referring to the speedrunning portion. Plenty of videos on that.

It activates on the third time you enter a worm hole where the color of the arrow that points towards it matches the lamp above.
