Welcome to the official tourism portal of BOA VISTA, a wonderful island in the archipelago of CAPE VERDE! A complete travel guide in the web version and mobile application, to spend a magical experience, but also to learn more about this small Republic in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Boavista is a melting pot of Creole culture (Kriol), with a history of piracy and merchants, ancestral traditions and incredible marine and terrestrial biodiversity, one of the first in the world.

Enjoy the climate of Boa Vista, clear and sunny all year round. You can consult the menus and atmospheres offered by the restaurants and beach clubs and use the maps to discover the suitable and most suggestive places to do your favourite sport. Consult the hiking routes, such as exploring the beautiful landscapes by quad bike, pick up, horseback, walking or trekking. Hi David, The best thing about Cabo Verde is that the weather is clear and sunny all over the year, and temperature is moderate.
In Dec and Jan its 23°C during the day and little colder at nights it is the best time to visit if you want to avoid extreme winters in Europe.
I am living in Boa Vista since last one year and it’s really amazing.

Hi Ryan! the temperature is quite constant all year round between 24 and 28 degrees during the day with peaks of 32 and 18. Really angry, at the resort now, yesterday when the donkeys came on the beach this one security guard who works for the hotel chased them away, they was so scared when they saw him they ran. Then today while I was feeding the skinny sick looking one, the same security guard walked up to the donkey and kicked him twice. Me and my wife had a go at him, but he was just smiling and laughing saying he's allowed to and that the donkeys not allowed here. He didn't care. We went to reception. The manager refused to speak to us, despite walking past us in the reception area, but we came back later and the reception staff said the manager spoke to the security guard who claims he only pushed the donkey that was all. Complete lier and despite us witnessing it and other guests on the beach, they are doing nothing about it. I even reported that the donkeys looked sick and in need of attention. They claim they have let someone know, but can't say who. I insisted on speaking to the manager, so the staff member again went to the manager and came back saying we had an appointment with the other manager at 7pm. Fuming. They claim to care about animals yet doing nothing about this. That guy will carry on hurting the donkeys. This is not acceptable
