    Providing shelter for homeless people sounds great,
    but we don't even have affordable housing for middle
    class workers.

      @@W.J.M. seems the formerly Supreme Court has been making many 'religious' based decisions, evidently they forgot the love thy brother part during this one....

    We need free public campgrounds from coast to coast, each no further apart than a day's walk. Each campground should be close to walmarts and grocery stores, so that campers can resupply. Pregnant women, elderly, and disabled should be provided free yurts, at these campgrounds. No one is entitled to a free house, but a place to camp and build a campfire is a human right. This network of campgrounds could replace all the wasted spending on homelessness.

    I'm not fond of the effects of homelessness, and I see it very directly. It's right in front of me every day where I live.
    But this is idiocy. This will only make things much worse.
    What are these people supposed to do? Fly? Disappear into the ground?

      @@GotoHere you clearly take for granted having a place to shower, do laundry, having work clothing, having a hot meal, having a place or device to actually search for a job and access to transportation...being homeless is extremely stressful and a lot of the homeless population are veterans, domestic abuse victims or medically/physically handicap...like you really dont get it.
