I'm not trying to knock the video, but isn't the STF thing a Bones wheels thing? :) Apart from that though, yeah Spitfire Formula 4s, especially the full conicals are so nice. Easily my favourite, albeit a bit expensive at the moment.
Having watched you for the past couple of years Clarice.....your flow is getting to a point where it's literally one step below the top tier. Impressive!

I skated this park last year for the first time. That bowl has probably some of the smoothest concrete I've ever skated.
Just a heads up - Bones make "street tech formula" (STF) and "skatepark formula" (SPF). Those spits are the red formula four 101a, blues are 99a
Glad I'm not tbe only one that noticed that! When they began discussing park and street formulas i was like "huh?". Confusing if you don't know your wheels. Respect tho!
I’ve been thinking about this a lot! Been playing around with how fast I can go at different MM wheels, so far 56mm seems to be the sweetspot

I agree, on an smooth park, perfect surface, 101 F4 are the best. You can get used to them outside but don't try anything softer if you usually skate gritty asphalt, you may never go back.
I enjoy your videos. I rode old, hard (101a?) Spitfire 53s that I began to hate; too small, bad bearings, or...(?) A friend sent me Powell Dragon Formulas that I love! Great, from crunchy to smooth surfaces. Then a shop gave me hand-me-down Spitfires (101a/57mm), and they're the fastest I've ever owned for skating at our local, smooth park. (Even w/ flat spots, they're still my fastest!)

You should try the Spitfire STFs on Independent 5.2 lows.
Since I quit weed again im trying to get back into skating and picked these up as a treat, they feel so good tbh..feels good to not be riding my 6 year old spitfire cheapshots lol

I would recommend bigger, due to a wider wheel surface providing more traction and more stability. On top of that, a bigger wheel would be preferred in order to gain and maintain more speed
Been riding the 99 duro for so long. Don’t even remember how 101 feels😂

But i tested 3 wheels, one per day on concrete, spitfire formula fours 99a, spitfire formula fours 101a and bones stf 104a, and with the spitfires i feel like them are grabbing too much the ground, and with bones spf made my midlife bearings feel like new again, a love spitfire but i think before this i can't get back until they make a harder wheel

Yep, 100%. Been noticing it since Al got the 360 cam. It gets worse the later it gets in the clip (the landing of the disaster at 13:37 is very obvious). It's super distracting 😒

F4 doesnt has threads. Seems someone get fake product
