Here's why we urgently need a Global Plastics Treaty

From the surge of Black Friday plastic packaging, to the throwaway plastic that we see everyday, plastic is EVERYWHERE. In less than 100 years of production, it has worked its way into every corner of the planet.
Despite this, big oil, in league with brands like Coca-Cola, Nestlé, PepsiCo, and Unilever, continue to push massive amounts of single-use plastic into the world.
It is time to say enough is enough. We need a Global #PlasticsTreaty that can enforce policies and effectively reduce the production and use of plastic.
