Oh my goodness...I'm sat here with tears in my eyes, getting all nostalgic while watching your build. I still ADORE the ceiling...best one I've ever seen. I remember watching the live stream when you were making the countertops...they turned out SO beautiful. You must be SO proud of your home...that you two built with a little help from your friends. Paco needs a hardhat though, because we do all know he is the BOSS! Thank you so much for sharing this. I'm so excited to see where you go next! I know we've never met, but I love you guys.

It looks beautiful, but I can’t believe that you didn’t do any wood burning like the last one. I’d never seen the process before and thought it was awesome. Safe travels and can’t wait to see where this next “season” of adventures takes you.
maybe we will do some hidden wood burn spots for the back area. Im thinking about pulling slide out drawers in the future.

I feel like the wood we used last time was way more suited to it cause it had such a defined grain and cool knots. With the birch ply it is so flat the burn would have looked just black. This next season is going to be a good one!!! so excited to have you along for the ride!!!

Thank you so much Sean! We were bummed about the bed system too but honestly it all worked out and is very livable. We still have some of the parts for the bed so time will tell if we actually get to installing it lol for now we are just enjoying it!!!

Fantastic result but have to ask why yellow curtains not threaded onto pole using eyelets? Also why did you put see through panel above front seats. Don't remember that atall in main vlogs. Hope don't have too many niggles once hit road (always some) and that have even better living environment. 😎
The pole doesn't fit in that area. Since building that area have upgraded that spot with a track that the curtin sides on we got it from ikea and it works great. The clear storage area was for us to gain more storage space we have a whole video about it. ua-cam.com/video/pPPU1T-SV-M/v-deo.html hope that all helps

Welcome back! We are glad you will be binge watching FnA lol. When we get back out towards the east coast i guess we have no idea when that will be tho.
I would really like to know what you think of the incredible elephant in the room of the RV industry that nobody seems to be talking about. In about 12 months vans with fully electric power trains will start rolling off assembly lines. No more Lithionics. No more Volta. Will anyone want gas or Diesel engines and the price of fuel? It may not be possible to unfold enough portable solar panels to go totally off the grid, but there will be some who will be willing to pack enough to significantly subsidize their travels. Any thoughts?
Van/ Rv's at the moment can only go 100-150 miles on a charge for converted electrical vans with no loads in them.. What we do you kind of need the gas or diesels well atleast till the tech is more advanced. There would have to be charge stations all over for it to be a usable way to travel for van lifers like ourselves. It might be OK for Rvers that stay in camp ground that have full hook ups and now they will need a electric hook up to charge there rig also which will come at a cost to the rver. The reason why we live in a van is so we can get fully off grid for 2 week at a time with no generator or hook ups.
