Those splits on your speed run! Your legs know how to turnover. I find that on long runs if I give myself permission to take quick walk breaks my mind copes and I’ll ask “do I REALLY need to walk?” Usually I say no. But that takes a lot of pressure off me. As much as you love the woods you’d really enjoy trail running after this race is accomplished. Doing good training! The sub 9 must have felt so awesome. And Congrats on the 9!

When I was on the Tour du Mont Blanc hike this summer there were always people out trail running around me, and I thought it seemed so cool
