Turns out it wasn't cows, it was that his new step mom was walking around the house with barely anything on and he wanted that medicine to get rid of his sex drive or something until he moved out.
What a cover story!

@@WaterCrane Depends on the jurisdiction. Like most things, incest has a specific definition under the law, but the law varies from place to place. So the general definition is "any sexual relationship where marriage would be prohibited by consanguinity," then the definition of consanguinity varies from place to place. In the US, this is at a state level. In some places step counts, in some it doesn't. There's even a couple of places where step counts even after the relationship dissolves if it was a parent-child relationship (eg, guy raises step daughter, divorces mom, relationship still illegal).
In modern law most jurisdictions recognize that there are psychological implication of incest and the power dynamics of families allow abuses, so incest isn't just about blood relations any more. People who get their knowledge from adult entertainment rather than research may not realize this since certain studios like using the word step to protect themselves legally.
Rates of STI’s in retirement homes are actually immensely high. Hahaha

@@ScanningTheMind Especially in the last few years! From some things I've read, during Covid, the rates in retirement homes have gone up, a lot, while community rates have gone down...
I used to be a nurses aid in a nursing home. Old women are DTF all day every day. As the only male staffer on the floor, I was “victim” to my fair share of sexual harassment. Lol. But I don’t think you can really “me too” 80 year old women, who can’t remember where they are half the time.

The reason so many of the clips were sexual themed is because many of the clips were from an episode of the show in which every case was a sexual problem of some kind.
Also, with the old woman who was having too much sex, her husband actually came to House saying that her sexual desire was too high and he needed to find an excuse to stop the blue pills since it was too much for him.
and in the end they were having an affair, they weren't husband and wife

Interesting. The story about a woman using her inhaler to spray her skin instead of inhaling, that's something I read on a Reddit topic about what things a doctor had to explain to a patient that should be common sense (or something similar). Only that poster wrote she sprayed her chest with it. So either this is based on a true story, or someone saw this episode of House and hoped for a bit of Reddit karma.

To be fair, there are a decent amount of people who go back to school later in life. I went back for my degree when I was 37 and I would say on campus about 15% were adult students. I think it is more about having a more focused mindset when older or maybe finances are easier, but it was a great time. Anyways, great reaction. Cheers!

Yeah. I was a phlebotomist at a hospital for ~4 years. My first day doing morning blood draw on the wards, my first patient was a little old dude about 90. I walk into the room and he's laying on top of the covers stark naked, jacking off. He started cussing a blue streak and refused to let me draw blood. Ne never stopped what he was doing. I solemnly bid him a good day and left.
8:00 Actually the clinic at the teaching hospital House works in is a free clinic even if most hospitals will charge you even for consultation.

Many physicians were like House in the US back when the show aired on TV. But, you'll be hard pressed to find physicians like this anymore. Honestly, I kind of miss it. They were like the only people who could be completely candid with you. Now there's too much coddling.

Yes. STI rates are so high in retirement homes for a reason. Sex is a natural desire, and older people stop caring about societal norms to avoid it.

The guy who really, really likes cows....when he says your frat buddies should get a good laugh at how appauld the doctor was...He thinks that the patient's buddies put him up to saying that to him as a joke. A frat is a group of guys that live together during college. They were originally set up to do social work and help the other members adjust to college life. In actuality they are known more for throwing parties and making pledges ( guys that want to join) do really embarrassing things for the older members' enjoyment. It’s not shocking, it’s just depressing how stupid the common person is…and knowing that most people are more stupid then that.
Using inhalers isn't as straightforward as you'd think. Also difficult when you're having trouble breathing. Shake inhaler. Put inhaler in mouth and activate to spray it this revolting unnatural aerosol, and SIMULTANEOUSLY inhale/huff as deep as you can. Hold it in for sixty seconds. Ha ha, remember we aren't getting enough oxygen; holding breath is near impossible!. Now catch your breath for a while. Repeat. Now go wash your inhaler and your mouth so you don't get thrush (yeast infection) from it. It's easier to use inhaler with a "spacer," a tube around 3 inches diameter and 5 inches long. Inside, it disperses the aerosol into the air in the tube, and you huff it in at the other end without getting chemicals on your tongue and roof of your mouth.

We've never had a remotely difficult time paying for it. My father is a tractor mechanic from a town of 100 people, who's had his entire back and ankle reconstructed after an accident years ago, is on multiple medications, and is having cancer treatments. Never had trouble paying for it. You're being gas-lighted by being shown bills from big city blue-state luxury type hospitals.

A former fiancé's mother died of cancer and bankrupted her family, a former stepfather who dad got sick and lost the family farm because of the medical expenses. I've also had family members see it happen to patients they attended as medical professionals themselves. Hell my aunt was an administrative chief of the hospital I was born in. She dealt with the nightmare that is private insurance in this country as a medical administrative professional for years before she finally got out of the field due to burnout.
And what's more even if I hadn't seen it up close and personal the data is out there to support my personal experiences over and over again. So I have the access to information that disproves your point of view on a personal level and at a MACRO level. Just because your personal experience hasn't put you into touch with somebody that was ruined by medical bills doesn't mean it's not a huge problem in this country. But what can I expect from somebody that wants to argue with medical professionals on the subject without having any connection to the field themselves other than being a patient. And on top of everything else you people look for a reason to pick a fight on this shit.
