Vishnu comes from the "Vasus" Waterbody Gods - Its Parallel Universe; that merged later there is NO Aryan or NO Dravidian - Yevano oru manga madayan aven polupu kaaga kalapi uduran, ondre kulam ondre makal, maayon is krishna, krisha is maayon. Whatever, krishna, Maayon and Vishnu are all the same because they share identical features, stories etc and thus they have joined and there's nothing wrong in worshipping Vishnu as Maayon or Krishna and vice Versa.
Vedic people saw Maayon as their god Vishnu or Krishna and tamil people saw it as vice Versa. That organic mixture is known as Hinduism although tamil deities are also within hindu deities through concept.
So Hare krishna, Jai Maayon!.
