  • This is my 99 Honda Civic with a 96 JDM B16a2 Swap. This Hack is for if your too lazy to change the Oil Pump to a USDM with the CKF sensor also it looks way cleaner instead of cutting wires you can always go back to stock.
    Shout to FFSQUAD Katman & Shout out to Jessie for remixing the video

    Awesome thanks for the idea of going to the junk yard that way no cutting needed 👍👍

    Hi Adam, I can't get a jumper cable, can I cut the existing and tap them together with a sole tape? I'm not good with soldering

      Ubi Ifere sorry for the late response I would use connectors instead of just twisting the wires and taping them but I strongly recommend soldering them

      You have multiple issues you're missing on your blue connector pin 10 which is your VTEC pressure sensor that's why your VTEC is not kicking in you need to wire that from the ECU to your VTEC Pressure sensor. Also pin 22 is your CKF Sensor P side which you need to wire that up too and also pin 31 is your CKF Sensor M side which you don't have either. The SRS Light is on because maybe you have an after market steering wheel or ABS Problem I would just take out the bulb out from the gauge. I would recommend using a 96-98 Honda Del Sol P30 ECU and it would fix a lot of your problems instead of using the jumper harness you're using right now. Please Subscribe ✌️

    I have eg with this problem but jumper harness any way around it ? B20b

      Don’t use a jumper harness it’s more complicated because they have solid colors I would use the factory harness and do it the same way as the video first, once it works then you can put the jumper harness back on.

      It's a 1999 civic Si Em1 ECU I took it to get it refereed and they couldn't find no check engine light for the ckf sensor so this works good luck

    I tried this and I’m getting a p1382/cylinder position sensor 1. Any clue on how to fix it?

    • @adamhashimoto8515
      @adamhashimoto8515  3 роки тому

      If you’re using a jumper harness it’s more confusing so it may not work for you this is for if you’re doing a swap and having the dual overhead harness or a single overhead vtec harness with the right ECU

      @@adamhashimoto8515 I have a 98 integra rs and I through in a 97 b18b from. It was a direct swap, but I need to get my car smogged on the 8th of next month. I got rid of the code for the crank sensor, but now have the piston one.

      Skim0dark yeah as long as you don’t have no ECU jumper harness. Make sure to like and subscribe 👍🏼😎

      @@Rattle_canned_restorations its kind of tricky because the colors on the jumpers don’t match up and they’re a lot of them that come in all black wires or all grey wires You could do it that way but it would take time to figure out if they’re all solid colors and it’s a pain in the ass
