You can get flare ups??? That explains things. Ten years Go, when I was 22, I had the WORST cold. My nose was literally running constantly. I went through a whole box of tissues and completely drenched both sleeves of my fabric jacket (this was, of course, on the day of my course major final and could not miss it). From there I went to student health where I was told I had a virus. The for weeks after that I had breathing problems where I had to take around 10 breathing treatmentsn on a good day. Went to the doctor again was told to keep using the medicine. After more weeks of this, followed up again and a WONDERFUL doctor actually diagnosed me with asthma. Following this, I noticed I completely lost my sense of smell, lots of sinus headaches, went to an ENT and was then diagnosed with AERDS. The funny thing tho, I actually think my allergy to NSAIDS developed much earlier, albeit without the respiratory problems. At around 14, I started to notice when I took an NSAID I would actually end up sicker than when I initially took it. That initial sickness I think was
Hi Jaymee! I have been watching your videos. What a fighter you are. I. Have IIH as we my cause is from my disease called Adhesive Arachnoiditis. They call it IH cause it's secondary and know how I got it. My question to you is; because of the Predisone and you have to be on it so much do they think that's how you got. It? I was on Predisone a lot as well until it started increasing pressure! Only emergencies now for me. I also came very close to a stent. But if the Dr would have put it in I would have had a stroke. I have stenosis in the brain as well. So I have a shunt. A LP Shunt and it was working GREAT. I loss 65 pounds and it shifted. So now my Dr has to go in and fix it and put new tubing. I hope you get. The stent because it's so much less surgeries and has a very good outcome! I hope they can soon stop giving you steroids. THAT causes lots of pressure problems. Looking forward to more of your videos. 😊
Hi Lisa! I actually will make a more detailed video soon about new information I got from my neurointerventionalist. 😊 In short: I was likely born with narrow transverse sinuses. Over time these can get small because the narrowing toughens up the smaller area. They believe a stent will be my best option to lessen my symptoms. However I wouldn't doubt that treatments I have done, like prednisone, could have sped up the process of this narrowing. Right now both of my transverse sinuses have areas that looks extremely pinched.
@@lisacrumley4979 you too Lisa! Its not easy, but if we keep fighting on we can get to a point of manageable symptoms. Thank you so much for following along with my videos and asking great questions❤😊
Wait.. are you in Clearwater? (Because Scientologists...) Cause I need to do this and I’m in Sarasota.. only hospitals I’ve seen that do this are “women’s” hospitals..
Unfortunately I couldn't stay on this treatment for very long, due to continued reactions. I was only on it for about 2 and half moths, but as soon as I stopped my sinuses got worse. So I do believe this helped me overall with my symptoms while I was on it.

Jaymee ,
That makes sense. Looking forward to your videos. I have so much faith a stent will help.i know it has to be hard at times. Keep fighting.💙

Did your sense of smell come back?
