It was always my dream to see Tom Petty in concert. The one and only time they came to Maine where I live, I wanted to go so bad but the ticket prices started at $76.50. I don't know about elsewhere, but here general admission is usually around $35. I was going through a hard time financially and was unable to come up with that kind of money. I just find it kind of ironic that back in the day he had a big fight with the record company because he thought they were charging too much for records. Tom Petty is and always will be my favorite and I will always be really sad that I didn't get to go to this concert and now I will never ever be able to make that dream come true. RIP Tom.
Great solid musician. And what trooper,heard later that he was dealing with a fractured hip and insisted he would not cancel any shows! I was at this show and he was obviously medicated because of his hip and he still kicked ass! RIP Tom
