Brazing is in no way a sufficient method of putting a frame together. Brazing is basically hot glue in the welding world, the metal is just stuck together, the metal was just heated up so the braze would stick. And to those who say that they think the tensile strength is greater and that's all that matters, think again. Tensile strength is measured by pulling the two welded objects directly apart in opposite directions with no other motion or force put on it. It does not determine that the joint is stronger than any other. Which in most cases, especially TIG, the base metal will break before the weld does.
+xgunsntrucksx Where was you taught that it isn't suitable for frame building? The collage of disknowledge? Look at the xr69 that won the Manx Grand Prix with Michael Dunlop aboard in 2012, beautiful brazed frame, if it'll last there it is suitable for something that looks like it'll be used for a smooth track and classic British bikes can also to be found to be using brazed frames and all the abuse a road bike gets over 60+ years says something about it's quality and strength
Learn more, comment less ya twat. and while your researching just how many motorcycle frames were infact brazed, do a bit of research into why the parent metal usually breaks prior to the weld failing, it is poor weld post treatment of the h.a.z.
You’re correct. These idiots are fools. I’m a welder. Braze for a frame is completely fucked. Do you braze high pressure tanks? No you tig. Do you braze boilers? No you tig. When you structural weld do you braze? No you tig. Braze is fucking brass. When you heat up the chromoly tubing to braze it you take the temper away making it weak. When you tig weld you are literally fusing the metal together. Try having a braze job pass a fucking X Ray inspection. Braze isn’t even as strong as silver solder. It’s literally like soldering copper tubing except it’s steel tubing.
What type of motor is this, a snowmobile, it has a pull start like a mower, lol. Silver alloy is what refrigeration systems use to join copper lines, Its done with an oxy acetylyne torch and no way stronger than mig.

Brazing will flow and wet the inside of a joint whereas tig will make a tiny fillet on the outside.
Greta Thunberg: 😭
Me: 🤪👍🏼
Nothing can possibly go wrong with this design
made to go how fast on the tracks? 200MPH average speed?
Muranaman and burning a 1 layer of Ballsack Skin per 3 Minutes
