Chapels very interested in what your doing! I’m very glad to see you received rain in your area! I hope you keep receiving significant rain fall every couple of weeks. Here’s hoping for a good crop!
So, I guess it would make sense to go back with the roller and pack all the clumps and push the peas in the portion of the field that was really dry when you seeded them. It will be interesting to see the difference in yields come harvest time. Glad to see you got some rain and more coming.
Glad to see you got some much needed rain. I sure wish we could send you some of the rain we have received & especially the rain that is supposed to be coming over the next couple of days. We are saturated here in west central Minnesota. I don't know when we will get back in the field again. I hope you keep getting the rain.
Happy you are getting rain. Hopefully it will continue through the growing season. May you have a bumper crop. From one dad to another now you have to watch what you do as you can see he is going to copy you step for step. In other words don’t take chances when he can see you!
It will be interesting at harvest to note the change in yield where it was seeded in to dry ground vs after the rain! I bet it will be very noticeable!
As a retired farmer I'm happy for you that you received some rain. Crops don't produce well without moisture. Best of wishes to you for a bountiful crop and growing season.
Funny how the only Case I've ever driven extensively was also a wheeled Steiger (2015 550) and it had the exact same battery issues, disconnect didn't work either. Don't even get me started on the insane DEF issues til it got deleted. Case quality.
that was cute CHAPEL durin the PRIME FLO TEST.... the peas went onto the ground and he went: """OH OH !!!!""" lol :) awesome lil helper you got there !!! he is gunna be lettin MOM nap in the buddy seat while HE RUNS the machine soon eh?? :)
Nice to see the real boss on site. 2800 acre plot? Unheard of here in Niagara county New York. Field are all around me. Doubt the biggest is over 120 acres.
When you're in a field how do you give someone directions to you if for example they need to bring you something? Doesn't look like there are many physical landmarks to reference. Just curious, great videos!!
Do you have the auxilary power harness for your drill that comes direct off the battery? we had same issue and had to reverse the switch wire at the back of the drill. I think the problem is that the ground wire of the harness needs to be moved to the tractor frame rather than the battery post so the disconnects actually function...
Would it work with the split packer tires to inject spray foam insulation? It firms up quickly and is quite solid. It could be a temporary fix in the field. Worth a try?
What precious times being able to farm with your own little family! I also have a potential question/topic for a future video... Why is it that you don't need to cultivate/dig the ground before seeding. Such as what you see the guys doing who mainly plant corn/soybean's. How is it that you can direct drill. Its it costs/time thing? Or just not required due the drops your growing? Help those who don't know learn a little more :)
Question. You mentioned how many acres with the seed, and the inoculant? What about fuel for the big beast? How many gallons for (roughly) how many acres
I'm surprised you don't have scrapers on your packer tires to keep them clean, then again you guys are normally dry, and it would be just another thing to service.
I can not imagine fields that big. 36 quarters is a township in the States. No way could we keep that from blowing. We would have the dirty 30s again..
Chapel getting distracted at every little thing… I wonder where he got that from?? 😂
Glad to see you're finally getting some rain. Prayers are being answered.
Amen 🙏🏼
Your little farmer brought a me a smile. He's growing up so fast. Glad you guys are finally getting some rain!
That smile of Chapels just melts this old man away. Can already see a little independant streak coming out in him.
Ohhhh yeah!... He has to do EVERYTHING by himself.... So that's what that feels like 🤔😭
He's honestly our world, nothing matters other than him ❤️
what a dear little chap.
Rain ☔ finally. All the best for you.
You have done that quite sometime before I ques lowering that spout.😉
Mike another 10 years or so Chapel will be running the machinery! Glad you got rain.

I have much more respect for farmers. Soooo much to do in so little time. I THANK YOU for feeding us!! Great videos and appreciate them.
So glad you got some rain Mike, here in southwestern Ontario, we can’t buy dry days or a dry field!

Nothing runs like a Red Tractor Will...
Ull be able to get Chapel to open the blockages soon..😊

I told you rain was on the way. You might have a great year!!!
Really nice thanks man!
So happy for you Mike that you got a bit of rain. Hopefully more will come. May the good crops be with you!

Donovan's cart looks hard to pull with flat tires 😂
Good flotation 😆👌
Magnifique vidéo et les grands champ tranpe et bien et la pluie 😂😮😅😊
Fantastic job Chapel!
100% biased here but he's just the best! ❤️
Funny how the only Case I've ever driven extensively was also a wheeled Steiger (2015 550) and it had the exact same battery issues, disconnect didn't work either. Don't even get me started on the insane DEF issues til it got deleted. Case quality.
As a Manitoban farmer we’ve had too much rain lol. It’s 25 and sunny one day then 15 with thunderstorms the next
Will deservers a raise.
that was cute CHAPEL durin the PRIME FLO TEST....

I'm gonna give it about 3 maybe 4 more years and Chapel will be climbing everything he can like dad does😂
And scare the hell out of everyone
My god I can not believe how fast chapel is growing. A few more videos and he will be kicking Dad out of the tractor.
Nice to see the real boss on site. 2800 acre plot? Unheard of here in Niagara county New York. Field are all around me. Doubt the biggest is over 120 acres.
Wow, an 1” . God is good !!
An inch of rain and we'll have a paradise
Blows me away how barb wire can stay straight on a fence for 20+ years. Then when u remove it it’ll coil up like it was on its original spool
Better be carefull mike this year he is checking the drill next year he will be running the drill
When you're in a field how do you give someone directions to you if for example they need to bring you something? Doesn't look like there are many physical landmarks to reference. Just curious, great videos!!
Rain finally 😃
love to see this moist soil
🙏🤗🛐
Blessed Family
Chapel is so lucky not to be in a crowded city, and learn what real life is all about from real parents.
I noticed that the air seeder seemed to have a low pressure problem with a few tires. Rain was needed for sure.
Looks like Donovan’s front cart tire is flat
Hav to get u some wire cutters Mike
They r my best friend at seeding along with tape
Chapel is definitely going to operate the tractor in a few years😂
Mike, you apparently need to install a solar battery tender on that old worn out tractor..
Where do you have your fan set when seeding your chickpeas? I'm seeding some now and keep plugging. Ps I have the same drill.
Wow, so good to see the better field condition Mike! Thank you Lord! I'd forgotten how worrisome it is having a little one around equip, ha.
Right?! Praise the Lord indeed, and Chapel keeps us on our toes! 😆
A tad sticky. Although for grading a road perfect!
The little guy will know everything he needs to know about seeding, long before he's even tall enough to drive a tractor! 🚜 😉
Do you have the auxilary power harness for your drill that comes direct off the battery? we had same issue and had to reverse the switch wire at the back of the drill. I think the problem is that the ground wire of the harness needs to be moved to the tractor frame rather than the battery post so the disconnects actually function...
Oh my God,can't believe how big that guy already is!
It's been a minute since his birth!
Morning
Chapel will be drill riding before you know it Mike.
Praise the Lord for sending his rains
If you get Chapel to do the rain dance it will probably rain
Would it work with the split packer tires to inject spray foam insulation? It firms up quickly and is quite solid. It could be a temporary fix in the field. Worth a try?
It would help prior to splitting but it would disintegrate almost immediately with the amount of pressure that drill runs on those packers.
Hey Mike kind of curious, how many acres does one drill get on an average day -good day? Might be looking into upgrading
Cool
What precious times being able to farm with your own little family!
I also have a potential question/topic for a future video... Why is it that you don't need to cultivate/dig the ground before seeding. Tilling causes moisture loss and, as thats the limiting factor in that area, they choose not to.
Mostly with the weed killers available you don't need to plough to kill the weeds by smothering them.
Question. You mentioned how many acres with the seed, and the inoculant? What about fuel for the big beast? How many gallons for (roughly) how many acres
Writing u a love letter on ur light bar !!!
I'm surprised you don't have scrapers on your packer tires to keep them clean, then again you guys are normally dry, and it would be just another thing to service.
Chapel's first words. "mike I got a question"
Hey Mike, I just saw somebody put a quad track through some high-power lines in Regina was that you?
2400 Hektare Field? Is that normal in Canada?
That front cart tire looked pretty flat
Tell the truth Mike you hit the fence at the end of the field.. wiped it right out..happens to the best of us Mike
I can not imagine fields that big. 36 quarters is a township in the States. No way could we keep that from blowing. We would have the dirty 30s again..
👍
Ashley needs to add the finish of the statement, "Thank God nothing runs like a Deere"
