Humptulips River House Raise - October 24th, 2024 Update

On January 7th and January 12 of 2022, our farmhouse was damaged by flooding on the Humptulips river. After 2 years of planning, permits, layoffs, etc, we're finally starting our mitigation plan to make our farmhouse safe from flooding. Work began in June of 2024 and we're at an exciting point of the process where the house has been lifted to over 11 feet!
In this video, I give an update on the progress after the footing was poured and the stem wall was formed.
