Don’t forget to spray them blinds for wasps. Thankfully I wasn’t lit up like a Christmas tree last year. Got in the ground blind early morning by day light I was back up at the house. Several red wasps on the inside looking down at me.

I know it sounds goofy, I’ve found a few fresh apples cut up in 4 pieces thrown around your stand seems to work well, seems like a treasure hunt and there following the scent and not focused on what’s above there head, early season it seems to work well

When I put in a ground blind early season I always sift a little 7 dust on the ground to get rid of ticks, red bugs and spiders, works real good,

the rubber bells on lifelines are terrible for wasps I cut mine all off and put shrink tubing on what I could of the carabiners and it has worked great. love your videos. always good to watch someone that's down to earth thanks

Got chased by bee's out of a 40acre piece once. Knocked over a dead tree which at the base had a huge nest inside of it we didn't know about. We ran all the way to the road and still had bees chasing us. Stripped down to underwear got in the car and left. Dad, my brother and I only got stung a handful each luckily. I had never been stung before and I haven't been stung since! I'll never forget that day! If there were more there was a river close by we could have jumped in.

That’s a good pro tip about the wasps. I’ve never thought about that but he’s right 30ft in a tree is a bad spot to be battling a wasp nest. That’ll ruin a day in a hurry.

good suggestion on the wasp spray. Don't know why I hate a little bug like that but I think I would practically jump out of a blind to avoid a wasp. The other thing I have found on one of my stands is just in a year, it got covered with vines. Or... I have found I need to re-trim limbs that have grown enough on neighboring trees that are now encroaching into my shooting lane.

Thanks for educating people on different methods of hunting....we get dog'd on by haters(trolls) here in south texas for hunting over feeders...when it's impossible for us to have food plots, open areas or big trees to hunt from👍🤘👊

One of the best ways to get kids involved in hunting and keep them interested and give them a realistic chance of harvesting a deer is to hunt over corn 🌽 if allowed. Here in Georgia it’s how we roll 😀🦌😀

Great video! Why corn and not soy? Soy has so much more protein? Cost? They don't like it? Just curios, Thanks.

Is there a bear proof capsule feeder? 400 pound black bear looks like he’d have a hay day with one of those.

Awesome video! Great advice, man I’m so glad I found y’all again on UA-cam! It’s like reconnecting with an former hunting buddy you hadn’t seen in years…👍 You’re so right about those Wasps, I “bug bombed” our blinds a couple weeks ago, but didn’t have any wasp spray w/ me and we discovered a huge nest above our storage building where my son plays. Had to take care of that nest “the old fashion way” 🔫😂, posted a Short of it, it was actually pretty cool.
Anyways, thanks again, as usual, for a very entertaining and informative video!!!👍👍👍😁

You dont even have to farm, have deer trained or feed them. 3hrs after I raked out and pulled some stumps out with a tractor deer where in my tiny little food plot in the middle of no where. The last thing I planted and was edible to them was rye in the fall. It's now late summer and that rye is dead. I have also shot a deer and 2 more walk by 5min later. This is central NY.
