Your decision making process is thoroughly entertaining to watch, haha. Love that you got so many happy, fluffy, lighthearted books 😉 So excited to re-read Beartown! I want to watch the show once I finish the series. And I’ll definitely be voting but just need to say that I really hope you can read Remarkably Bright Creatures, not only because I absolutely love it but also because you deserve to read a lighter book!! ❤️🐙
@@LibrariesandLattes Haha thank you 😂 I know right?! It’s all just a big fluffy pink cloud! I will be rewatching the show as well afterwards, I feel like reading the book will bring out more things that I might have missed the first time round! Haha yes I kind of hope so too! It is on audiobook, so hopefully I’ll get it in one way or another! 😊 I’m so curious about the other ones too though, I can’t make more decisions now! 😂 I’ll leave it up to all of you! 🥰💜
That's a really good selection of books. I hope whatever you read is a big hit. I never re-read books, but I'm tempted for Beartown as it's my favourite Fredrik Backman. Lanny sounds really good. 'Probably weird' is a definite selling point. I tried Remarkably Bright Creatures last month. It sounded really interesting and everybody seems to love it, but I didn't vibe with it at the time. Maybe I'll try it again. The Other Side of Night sounds great. You had me at 'mindbending'. That will get my vote.
@@RDsLibrary Thank you! I’m excited about all of them! I’m not sure if RBC is going to be my vibe either, but everyone speaks highly of it so I’ll give it a try! I’m very curious about Lanny (heard it’s “superb” and “favorite”) and yes, the weird is why I got it 😅 I’m also super curious about Other side of night. If I have time I’ll squeeze them all in, but it looks like RBC is winning so far! And Beartown of course, it would be fun if you decided to reread it! You might see new things the second time around 😊
I am getting The Mercies from the library for September. It sounds so interesting! I love that Beartown is for sure for October! It's such a good book.
@@BonnieNicoleWrites Perfect! I feel like I’ve been waiting forever to read The Mercies, it was in my first haul video so I must have bought it late last year! And then Beartown after that, I feel spoiled 😊
@@marginsofmarisa Thank you! They’re really fun to make, even though it takes me forever for some reason 😂 I think it is your sign! 🐻 You’re very welcome to join if you want! 😊
@@BeyondBooks-wt5il I thought you might think so! 😄 I do too, there are more elements to it but I didn’t want to say too much! (Or know too much!) It’s been a while since I read a thriller too.
I loved Remarkably Bright Creatures. I didn’t expect to love it, and then I absolutely did. It’s not funny, though. It actually made me cry. It’s a beautiful story. 🥰
I like how varied your selection is ^^ Remarkably Bright Creatures has also been on my radar, but I have so many books I need/want to get to that I'm not sure I would make it to that one in October...
I love watching your TBR jar videos. Unfortunately, I'm a bit behind D: I plan to read Song of Achilles in September, and who knows when 1984 will get its time to shine 😅I'm looking forward to reading in September and October - I'm going to try and tackle some of my horror and thriller books this year 🫣 Hope you're having a great day, Ellen!
@@elmossy Hi Elmo! No worries at all! The whole point is that the videos stay up, so you can join the discussion whenever it suits you. I’m not here to add stress and press to anyone’s life! 😊 So you’re not behind, you’re just where you are. It’s been so long since I read a thriller! I might try and squeeze things in, even if they don’t get picked. Although at my current pace, that’s unlikely! 😅 I appreciate you watching and commenting, and I’m glad you enjoyed the video! Happy weekend and enjoy your reading! 💜
@@nanana_naaaa I haven’t read enough to know, although the ones I have read I’ve really enjoyed! I think this one is a wild ride - love or hate or total confusion! 😊
I'm never going to make it a rule to not watch anything until I catch up on reading because now... 🥴 Because then I just get FOMO from not knowing what the picks were for October!! 😭 LOL. I like the "Purple" for "Purple". That was so perfect. Yeah... fantasy can be a hard prompt to read if you don't want a series 🫠 That's also why I haven't really been trying to get into series because I like to finish my series 😂 I have like 5 series that I want to finish. And I'm starting another series this month 🥴Why am I like this LOL. AHH. I really wanted to read Anxious People first... but maybe I'll read Bear Town with you guys for October. 👀Especially since it's one of Bonnie's favorite books as well. This month is so solid with great picks. I'm also interested in Remarkably Bright Creature & White Cat, Black Dog. I might make October more of a free pick for me since I'm not sure how much I enjoy TBR. I felt a little bit restricted in the past couple of months!!
@@itsmimiduong Haha I know how you feel! I have 11 pages to go before I can watch your tbr game, let’s gooo! 😂 It is good motivation though, but I think smaller chunks works better! Little treats along the way ^^ I really need to look up some fantasy stand alones! I can’t have too many series going, I’ll just forget everything anyway! I also feel the tbr restriction sometimes! I want to make different kinds of videos and things as well, so I need some wiggle room. We can always adjust as we go 😊 But I would love for you to join us for Beartown! I think you’d like it. I think it’s got lots of drama and complex relationships and that seems like your vibe. Anxious people sounds good too though! Do whatever feels right to you! Thank you for saying it’s a solid month, I always get a bit nervous haha like what if no one likes any of them… 😂 but RBC is looking good so far! I hope I can read them all, but that’s not very likely haha Ahhh gotta finish my reading now so I can watch your game! It’s my reward! 🏆

It's a shame you don't have "The Color Purple"! It would have been perfect for your prompt. Great video, heading over to vote soon.
